very useful information. I have 250 trees not maintained that well. Planted somewhat in high density approach. I failed to size the trees regularly. All are 7-10 years old with very low yield (due to various reasons including untimely summer rain at the peak of flowering). your videos motivate me to go to my farm to keep them in right shape hereafter. Thank you. From southern part of India
Great video! This semester I'm teaching my students in post-harvest subject. Your videos really help me a lot. Thanks! I can't wait to watch more videos from you guys.
Thank you so much for these videos. I have two mango trees in my yard that were planted by the previous homeowner that were not properly pruned. They are still young (>5 years) so I'm glad to have found these videos to start correctly pruning and harvesting! Gladly subscribed!
Those series are very efficient and effective information with very least costs. Very passionate. I learnt alot. We have 21 aces orchards in Myanmar. It helps a lot. Thank you very much ! I can't wait to watch more series from you. Hugs.
Love your series of videos about pruning, maintenance, disease control and harvesting. Very well done! Very informative. I'm planning to use your techniques for my home mini-orchard. Can you recommend the proper ideal brix level at harvesting when growing for personal consumption ???
Your videos are truly amazing & full of very valuable information. Please make similar videos about growing, pruning & harvesting of other tropical fruits. Thank you!!
Thank you so much for your informative series on mangoes. I have a large tree in my yard that is no longer producing fruit. It’s so tall I can’t apply fungicide affectively. So my only course of action is to cut the tree back and wait a couple years.
So happy to see Ghana people is concentrating their abilities to work more harder and efficient , I hope someday they achieve their desired place they deserve in world community , I am saying this because all western countries look down on developing countries because that is mostly racism , seeing a country growing like seeing a baby growing and all babies are equal to me
Very Interesting and extremly Informative Video Thank You!!! I have several Mango trees growing in the ground in my House cant wait for them to start giving out fruits !!! Will keep your points in Mind !!! Also gentle Reminder People MANGOES COME FROM EXTEME HEAT AND THEY HAVE THAT HEAT IN THEM WHICH WRECK HAVOCK TO THE SKIN!!! TO ENJOY MANGOES IN SUMMER AND ALSO TO AVOID BAD SKIN AS SIDE EFFECTS, CÒOL THEM DOWN IN A REFRIGERATOR ( HOME MADE OR BRANDED). THIS WAY ONE CAN ENJOY MANGOES WOTHOUT HAVING TO DEAL WITH BAD ERUPTED SKIN !!! HAPPY MANGOES EVERYONE !!!
such a great channel, good for you to organize. I'm in east Europe and poverty and lack of education is a problem for us too. We have EU help but with so much corruption it's hard to advance. So you are great motivation/inspiration. I would like some day to have a cut flower farm, but I don't think it's feasible where I am because land is so expensive, and where land is affordable, there is no infrastructure. Plus it's a luxury, not a feasible business idea. Still it would be nice. Take care and good luck!
Hello, in the PHILIPPINES are very big difference between how to develop FROM flowering and to harvesting the fruits, thanks and God bless always 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
wonderful and instructive video. Thanks so much for sharing it with those who like the fruit trees. What variety of mango is the one harvested here in this video.? Those mangos must be very sweet because you have lots of sunshine there in Ghana. Thanks in advance for tour answer.
Am really happy to see your so nice video. I have one question. After mango harvest which branch to prun. Can you make drawing and show us. This will be perfect example for every one of us. This is special request.
Your videos inspired me for an mango orchid in India and I also love the size and variety of the mangoes harvest by you. Could it be possible to get grafted plants in India brother?
Put some wheels on the harvesting crates to make it easier to take it to the truck. Add a leash to make it easier to tow. This will improve productivity of your labour force.
This is actually common sense but long we've been senseless about it. Depends on market, if your market is particular about ripeness and grades, then selective harvesting is a must.
So much information was packed into this video.
I wish other videos on RUclips on this subject were this clear.
This is amongst the best if not the best explanation of harvesting mangoes.
These are literally the best mango horticulture videos on the internet. They help people all over the world. So glad these exist
