The funniest part of this film was the fact that Emma Roberts is supposed to be Peter parker's mom just what was that casting choice lmfao

The scene in the train has a guy playing a PSP even though it's supposed to be 2003 and that didn’t exist until 2005! This bothered me more than anything else that happened in the movie.
Its produced by sony but they couldnt find out when the sony psp was released to the public
Reminds me of the guy playing Gears of War in The Hurt Locker, even though the movie is set in 2004. But the Xbox 360 came out in 2005 and the game came out in 2006. Otherwise, great movie.
I watched this video abt all the re writes and the original line was “New York is so crazy these days some guy was selling these on the street or something”
I blame Sony’s synergy. They always do that in their movies.
@@newjigsaw idk why they decided to randomly cut scenes out and re shoot a brand new film for example there was a whole final fight scene planned out where Dakota was in her super suit??
You guys forgot that in the movie, the fireworks warehouse was literally on fire a week before and was deemed unsafe.
So someone decided it would be a good idea to reuse said building to store fireworks the week after.
The Dean Martin spy spoofs are currently on Tubi in the US. Avaryl is right, they are delightful.
At first I thought the cricket was just sound effects and then ... IT HAPPENED. And it made my Monday :)

It is absolutely crazy to me the reaction to her lime joke. Like are people really confused that she would make a sarcastic joke about a ludricous amount of limes? Why would Jimmy Fallon need to follow up about it?

this is totally irrelevant but, the calvin klein billboard guy wasn't David Beckham, it was a different footballer, a swedish guy called Freddie Ljungberg. I only bring this up because I was mildly obsessed with him in 2003 (of course) but I highly recommend you look him up!
The editing, the sudden Cricket Cricket, Avaryl's off screen "dialogue", Andrew's runaway train of laughter and emotis taking over.
Perfect and so appropriate.
And... I guess this means that Madame Webb will know that Peter Parker's parents will die soon enough, and in some 15ys her buddy Ben will be murdered... and she won't even suggest that he gets a good life insurance so her widow and adopted kid have an easier go at it after his untimely death?
PS: I somehow made it thru all 50 Shades movies with Dakota Johnson's obnoxious flat baby voice, I don't think I can do it anymore, I don't think she can act beyond being a flat voiced asshole. But if you guys found entertaining in this performance, good for you, you watched some mad trash in the past year, you earned it.
I think Madame Web was the best cinematic experience I've had in years. Jaw was on the floor at how "so bad its good" it was. The villain's dubbing was possibly one of the worst things I've ever seen in a big budget film.

I think Madame Web works best opposite Black Adam. While The Rock was really polishing a dookie for the DCEU, Dakota Johnson put in the appropriate effort for her movie. Since you mentioned The Room, hopefully someone does a The Disaster Artist for Madame Web

I watched Madame Web in a two-man show. The other person that watched it left mid-film. I was laughing so loudly on the other hand. The CPR scene call back make holler so loud.
the whole spider/potato bug/cricket thing was already better than this whole madame web movie 😂

theres so much to be said about this movie but watching it in an empty theater was an unparalleled experience. Don't regret it lol
(idk if yall mention this but watching three girls, on the run from a murderous dude decide to start table dancing in a *diner* was SO odd like-- this was for the trailer right? who in their right mind is like "theres a murderer after me, I should grind to brittney spears"?)
I have never read Spider-Man comic but this IS Spiderverse. Madame Web literally sees ALL timelines she’s at the Web of Time. Sure it’s not part of the film series Spiderverse but it’s part of the Spider-Man cinematic multiverse like she’s co workers with Ben Parker Peters uncle.
Did **no one** explain who she was playing to her?
When they say spiderverse they mean tomverse. Marvel isnt letting them join the tomverse so they cant officially say they arent part of the spiderverse

the spider people had the photos developed. like kodak or canon intl. or like the mystic cave pool also double as a one hr photo. and then they used her mom's journal as a hand writing sample to sign the back of the pictures cuz Las Aranas lol
I think the issue is Sony has, the rights to spiderman as long as they keep making films otherwise it will revert back to Marvel and Disney so Sony will keep making movies even if they are terrible.
But they can literally make any Spider-Man related film with any character across the what 80 years of Spider-Man related characters but they just what their “villains” spin off cinematic universe

OMG OMG Yes wishes come true! I had the best time with my mum laughing with this movie for 2 seconds & at everything else. Knew for a fact it would be a hot campy fire bomb like the incredible Hulk(08) ready for ya'll...as someone who reads the comics this movie is so off the wall its becomes a mock bad movie 😂😂

Dakota just tells it like it is. Her parents divorced when she was tiny, they both had drug problems, we act like she’s the daughter of Hollywood royalty but that’s hardly the case.

Honestly I loved this movie so much. Is it good? No. But did I laugh and enjoy every campy absurd minute of it? Yes
I honestly find Dakota Johnson so annoying 😬. Like even if what she says is the truth it’s not refreshing. There’s no humour with it or said in jest it’s just mean. Like a bad read.

I just watched this movie. Oh, boy. The "subtlety" of the window cracking shows webbing. Ooh. (eye roll) Sydney Sweeney's wig. Disastah pile with you. The movie was not awful. It was not good. It was fine. Did the creators think it would be a sequel with Spider Power Rangers Squad? What is happening?
