Survivor would make a sweet RPG, if they made it more about resource gathering, dialog trees, and loyalty quests. Minigames would be present, but they'd be one-shot deals like the show and you could negotiate for immunity after the fact. Add in randomized NPC tribe mates with a multiplayer option, and you've got something. But that will never EVER happen.

They had a very small selection of mini-games - I think it was 4-6 games total - and you only controlled one character. You spent a lot of time wandering around your tribe's camp, making alliances in case you couldn't win the immunity challenge. Obviously no alliances meant your chances of getting booted early were higher. It actually seems like the decade-old PC game was better and more thought-out than this.
where did you find this game? is it even for sale in the U.S.? i cant seem to find it in any stores or even online anywhere..... (and yes, though the game looks like it sucks, i knwo a crazy fan that woudl love it as a gift)...

@NeverendingTwilight1 The Wii IS known for DECENT graphics. You look at games made or published by Nintendo, Capcom, Sega, Konami or Ubisoft, and you will see they all look good and most people have heard of their titles.
I agree. My Wii get's along great with my PS3 and the Wii is a very capable system. The problem is Nintendo's practically nonexistent quality assurance. For every Monster Hunter there are at least 3 dozen cannon fodder mini game collections. And speaking of Monster Hunter 3, I think it's time I fire up my Wii and have another go at that gem.
@TheRManProds I mean his kids are kinda young. Total Drama has some censored stuff for CN. They curse a lot in the original. The word crap is overused. Players are often hurt.
@Mariofreakman Goldeneye, like many other good games for the wii, was pretty much just a re-vamp of an older game. The wii has several of these such as Resident Evil 4, Dead Rising, and old nintendo classics (many of which I own). However, games like Epic Mickey are awesome simply because the developers actually gave a damn about putting some effort into it, which is understandable because with a name like Disney plastered on it, you know the makers want it to live up to it's company's status.
@NeverendingTwilight1 I agree with that. I can't stand what some 3rd parties have to say about the Wii and their games not selling when they don't try.
I agree, everything was focused on the mini games.... and the after that just pick one thats gonna go... I wish there were more stuff about the Tribal Council. And even better, create custom characters... bleeh
@gamingrocks100 I partially disagree. In most cases console games tend to look better than PC games, at least from my experience. I understand that the Wii can only play in 480p, but it can still be pushed to its limits to produce some truly beautiful looking titles (i.e. Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2, Sonic Colors, and others). Given that the PS3 and 360 play in 1080p, however, their games do tend to look better. That doesn't make the Wii bad graphics wise, just not up to par with the other 2
@gamingrocks100 Yes, and I was agreeing with you when I said the other consoles' games "do tend to look better". I was disagreeing with you on the PC. I often find PC games to have inferior graphics to the Wii. Maybe I haven't played the right PC games, but it's just my opinion
This game could be made so much better. Especially if it wasn't online game players could actually play each other with strategy as well as mini games, to be more like survivor.

@patsybob I disagree yes the Wii is limited BUT it can offer more then what this game offers. There are some pretty decent looking Wii games out there! Yes obviously there are certain technical limitations and in many ways..it does has allot of Gamecube style. Still.. it can do better then this! Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles.. the one with that boy running through areas then doing Waggle Motion based mini games.
@NeverendingTwilight1 Actually the Wii can do good graphics, just look at The Last Story, Moario Galaxy 1&2, No More Heroes 1&2, Metroid Other M,Goldeneye, Samurai Warriors 3, etc.

I like that he does this b/c you wont find reviews for games like this often that aren't incredibly biased and uninformative. So what if its often the dregs? He finds fun little budget games all the time that most otherwise wouldn't ever hear about.
