13:00 Megaludis should have challenged Tomesello on his overtime match. Tomesello grabbed his singlet to secure a takedown. It was a handfull of singlet I cant believe Angel Rivera did not see it. Mistakes happen though but Megaludis should have pushed his coaches for a challenge, he would have won for a violation in OT for the win.
I remember screaming at the TV when this was broadcast live. In the end it worked out for Megaludis 2 weeks later with him beating Gilman in the NCAA finals.
How did those Ref’s not call a technical violation on Bo is head scratching. It was clear as day with the fantastic coverage by the Big 10 Network. Of course Bo would of still won the match, but the rules are the rules and he did grab a hold of the headgear and pull down.
