Hitfilm users take notes! All you gotta do is render out your single frame as a png sequence in export, import it back into your media, and throw it back into your project.
to shorten, go to next scene you want to freeze frame, duplicate footage, go to start of video add frame hold, go to effect controls and go to the opacity tab and use the free hand tool to add the mask around the object.... no need to add a crop or cut the scene, I won't make tutorials so i'll just add my sauce to your comments for any viewers who need it, keep growing max your dope.

If the masking isn't as easy you can export the frame from Premiere and then mask it out in photoshop, which I've found to be easier and cleaner in my experience
so i am tryna clip it and i am going over right with one click on the arrow and i hit crtl k to cut it and i hold alt and drag up and when i rick click all i get is motion/opacity/ and time remapping?? can someone help me??
when i add glow to the freeze frame then add position key frames at the beginning and end the frame doesn't move, but it moves if I don't add the glow why!?!?!

Max for some reason when I add the flicker and glitch effect, the animation doesn't work any solutions? For example the object doesn't slide or scale into size, it's just stuck. Thanks PS before I add them effects my automation works

I've ran into a problem when I outline the image with the crop tool and shift left to 100% it only shows the blue outline crop and not the image I'm trying to crop in the clip before. Can you help me with this please it's really bugging me. Thanks
Listen2Jordan I had the same problem. When you croppin with the bezier tool make sure the last blue square is connected to another blue square. Then your crop object will highlight itself. Once you play it back you’ll have it bro
