What a wonderful vid! Taught me an aspect of the English painting and art i was not aware of! Thank you!! 🙏🏻
Rossetti kept two bengali tigers and a number of peacocks in his London house at Cheyne walk in chelsea. The neighbors were terrified of the tigers. Although he said they were tame !
To this very day there is a clause in the contract for anyone wishing to buy the house , and it says under no circumstances will tigers and peacocks be permitted in the house 🐅🐅🦚🦚🖼🎨🖌
And alongside his paintings he managed to compose one of the most extraodinarily beautiful poems ever written : sudden light
I born where Rossetti family lived in Italy (Vasto-Chieti) Abruzzo; where ther'is a beautiful marble statue in the main square of the City in hes onor... They call he's style the Pre-Raffaelite (or something like that).... 🙂💚🤍❤😘
Sorry for my bad writhing... Nobody is perfect 😇
I love learning more about the unsung women artists like Elizabeth Siddal 🎨🧡
