I have a question where do you get your garage door opener motor from? I really do enjoy garage doors and I want to have a few motors of my own to mess around with.
@@LukeDoorMan I’ve seen a lot of really good openers on eBay but I really trust them because I just got a new remote for that Pacific reason but most of them $60-$100 but I’m skeptical about it so I want your opinion before I save up to buy it
My son is now three but he has been watching your videos since age 2 1/2. He absolutely loves garage doors and seems to always be watching your videos. His name is Saul. Maybe someday you can give them a shout out in one of your videos and let us know.
Its not a screw drive. Its a chain drive. Screw drives open quite fast and make a distinct noise. That looks like a Genie or somthing. The reason the lights flash is because the photo cells here blocked. Liftmaster and Chamberlain openers lights flash when the door is closing and somthing is in the way of the sensors (photo cells) at the bottom of the door. The things with the yellow and green lights at the bottom of the door on the tracks.
I love these types of videos!
Thanks man!
Nice openers!
thanks!
I like your doors
thanks

A lot of the openers I get are ones that have been thrown away, some of them have been ebay finds

If I remember, I might!
When the genie breaks what are you going to replace it with I recommend a 8365 or a 3255
8365 probably
Nice
If you were to replace 1245s I recommend liftmaster 3255s
@@thecraftsmanguy1899 I was thinking of Liftmaster 8165s.
That's pretty much the same thing except the 3255 has a 371lm o used to have one but then it broke and then I got a c450
nice. the 3280 has a bad limit assembly i think, that’s why it keeps going up. and definitely needs oil on the sprocket
Yeah I think that's the problem, but it actually stops by itself after a while.
I don’t think so because when u hit the remote to close it the lights blinked telling u the sensors were tripped
@@kenneyma1498 that doesn’t affect the limit assembly
That G5000 is so quiet!
Yes it sure is
Like vids
Thanks!
Nice video genie screw drive is getting a little loud
Yeah that might be some of the screw noise. It's starting to make some noise again, but it's still not as bad as before I lubed it. Thanks!
