People have use ad blocker b'cos there is excess ads in one video, people are watching ads more than the video. if youtube continue to doing so one day people will stay away from youtube one by one.

I haven't watched TV since 1975 because of ads. Now, with unavoidable RUclips ads, I pay attention to the advertisers in order to avoid whatever they are pushing.

Thank you. wasn't working initially then i refreshed the video i wanted to watch and it worked. I'm getting 2 minute ads un-skippable, i cant deal with that bull.

Its already bad enough i cant even put adblock on my android phone on main up RUclips and google , its because of phones its not that easy but for computers and laptops are okay and now
youtube and google started to make alot worst for us user to ban adblock sooner i realized i have been wassting my time just on stupid annyoing ass ads that cant even skip. for like 20 second or more sooner the youtube keeeps up with multiple ads with ban adblocckers i will be be leaving youtube for good i dnont need anymore stress to carry with me.

It works!! 🤩 In the beginning, it doesn't work for me, so I disabled my AdBlock extension, closed the Chrome Browser, open it again, and went to RUclips to watch a video, the ads were no longer there. 💪💪

Those ads that ask 4 a donation, makes one feel, that we ''should'' be watching some ads. I've tried to get accustomed 2 the ads. But they just end up taking the piss, add to that the sponsorship deals with the creators as well. There will forever be a solution to skipping ads. Fank fook.

If AdBlock (or other blocker) is not doing the job I simply click off the sound and roll the screen up until all I see is the progress bar, and wait for it to complete. 95% of the time I have no idea what the ad promoted. This approach to ads is still wasting time and if the ad takes too long I downvote the video and move on. I do something similar with streaming services and broadcast TV. Trying to limit the noise pollution takes some effort but is worth it.

Edit: Seems to work now, the tracker says it blocked 1 ad after 13 ads, will keep you updated. Thank you
1 week update: 0 ads shown and 122 ads blocked and works 99% perfectly. RUclips sometimes will tell you they know you're using an ad blocker and are actively trying to remove it and may moderate your account so use while you can/at your own risk.

I stopped watching tv like 20 years ago because of the many commercials. It was during a harry potter movie and it had like 7 or 8 breaks for commercials i decided tv was no longer my thing. Sadly there is no real alternative for RUclips yet but consider me gone already.

Exit video click back on video I see ad skip again find the video click again I do this till the video shows up once it shows up it will be on your history watch your video when ad comes back exit the whole video go to history find the video then click if ads come up before the video click off vid and on I do this fast till I see the video again . I rufuse to even let ads play because I have a theory they feed you more if you let it play in its entire so I skip out they do know when you do not watch the entire or video ad at all they know trust me and I want them to know I don’t watch em What a head ache

We have a bigger problem, Server-side ads.
Theres a way to bypass this which involves clicking on comment section timestamps longer than the video or making your own timestamp. It seems to work from my limited testing, PLEASE IF IT DOES WORK FOR U SPREAD THE WORD THE PPL NEED TO KNOW

if it is ad injections, u can try to bypass it by clicking on a youtube comment section timestamp that is longer than the ad.

@@AustinsLabYT They made it to where it can detect these extensions better not too long ago to the point I even had to no longer use my YT ad blocker and remove it or youtube will yell at you and only allow you to watch three more videos with the ad blocker active on the website.

If you put a video on youtube that is to educate, inform, or entertain it SUCKS to have some stupid, uncalled for ad that has nothing to do with your video (that you worked so hard to produce) be CONSTANTLY INTERRUPTED. It SUCKS BIG TIME for both the creator and the viewer. The non stop, annoying ads that are SELLING (like those Dr Gundy 30 minute commercials) something should simply pay youtube to post them (just like TV) and IF those commercial ads are SO IMPORTANT and SOUGHT AFTER then we can view them IF that content is what we want to see instead of this RELENTLESS INFESTATION of LOUD, ANNOYING, UNWANTED AD every 3 minutes. Maybe Elon Musk will introduce some competition and create his own version of youtube and run it right so it is enjoyable LIKE IT"S SUPPOSED TO BE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
