This was super fun to watch! I'm not often huge on unboxing videos, but hearing you both excited and genuinely discovering this for the first time was a blast! Since I've seen a lot of the reveals, it was like watching you discover a secret I already know. I know you stopped playtesting Automa for Stonemaier games for this reason. It really paid off and increased the fun of this video. Well done!
Thanks so much!! Yeah, we filmed this a couple weeks ago or maybe a tad more, and I had forgotten. As I edited it, I really enjoyed that aspect too. I had to turn down the volume in certain areas. lol. But it was genuine. And yes, Josh beat me in our first game. XD

Dusty, I love the mat. It’s beautiful, and I’m sure it has many wonderful uses, but it’s much too busy for an unboxing. The art and components just get lost. Unboxing on a solid color would work better.
Jason, I totally agree! I have done a couple of unboxings with that mat and didn't see an issue, but in this case as I was editing I was thinking I need to use my blue or grey mat next time. So lesson learned! I appreciate the constructive criticism. I'll do better with Wingspan Oceania!

Joshua Calandrillo lol Burky doesn’t know I exist. Their Viking mat has a large blue area in the middle that would probably look beautiful.
