- Al Qaynah is a global effort and we're composers and musicians from different cultural, religious and ethnic backgrounds.
Afghanistan thusly is our metaphorical homeland.
The musical project is to blend western, Middle Eastern and eastern influences in a homogenous way. Emphasizing unity and flow - not differences. The musical vision is 'eastern metal'.

I do not know what she is singing, She could be singing a dictionary for all I know. What I do know is that she has a great voice, the music compliments her sound, and all together, it sounds very very good. Off to find the next song...

not really, according to the founder they used afghanistan as commercial hook. But they're from all corners of the world, but not sure if afghan, probably.
