Crane Wing: "When fighting defensively with at least one hand free..." This should not work when you are holding a rapier and a shield as you do not have a free hand. The extra effect of Crane Riposte working off of Crane Wing triggering should also not be happening.
@henrychurch6062 It was working in my last playthrough. if it was changed or you don't feel like using it because it's bugged, just pick up some offensive perks instead. you'll realistically only lose a small amount of AC which shouldn't be noticeable. I forgot about how those perks functioned, I prefer not to abuse bugs personally so I appreciate you letting me know. updated the pinned Written build to let people know. thanks for watching!
Finished my Demon run with Camellia as a tank. Act 3 was a breeze, the trouble started during Midnight Fane and later in Alushinyrra. CamCam was vulnerable to enemy spells and those pesky Mariliths (they got many attacks/round and sometimes they hit, and when they do they hit hard). Act 5 was alright. Overall good build. But the inability to cast Protective Luck on herself made a difference. My MC had something about 20AC lower than Cam, but he had protective luck and overall was better in tanking. On the other hand Camellia was not only the tank but also buffer and some help with divine spells. I haven't tried it, this is my pure theorycrafting and probably wrong one, but going Instinctual Warrior instead of Tower Shield Fighter could be better overall.
@SSangsen I could definitely see Instinctual Warrior being better. If I remember correctly a bigger youtuber already did that build, so I didn't want to copy it.

It should be noted, the spell turning ability very annoyingly reflects friendly spells. Unless you are entirely self buffing (not likely on a tank), its a very irritating. As a dex based character, if you are funnelling the very best gear, the last azlanti belt has the spell reflect, but only for hostile spells.
@notalefty999 true that, not sure if I mentioned it in this build or not but I've learned to unequip the mask before buffing. most buffs last a decent amount of time to where you don't have to to do this constantly. the belt though would be a great option, then the mask could be replaced with something such as Broken Trickster.
