the reason for the opposite view trump is that the deeper in your deck you are the less rng and randomness in your cards you get are ,so you can plan better if you think the game will go long and taking out 1 card to get 2 in hand make it a 3 card differentiation ,kinda why tracking was way better before the change
I don't get why Trump didn't just Coin 2 into 2 into hero power 3 in the last game. That was an insane tempo hand and outcasts Skull and he just greeded keeping the coin against turn 1 Gnarg for bo reason. Actually infuriating.
He should have. I get the point 2/3 was dieing from weapon but there was some value trade into most likely 2-3 beforehand which will allow him to panther + hp on turn 3 having cleared 2/3. But again, no merchant on 3 could have been even worse. Later plays sucked as well. He just can't play from behind but we probably both know that. That's why he runs only "tempo decks" - like such terminology at arena ever existed - and uploads mainly DH hp drafts where very high tempo hp often allows him to dodge playing from behind. Than he doesn't have DH hp, has to play more defensively while still pushing aggresive curve and scores 4 or 5 wins cuz either outvalued or wasn't able to pfb and no YT content. Simple pattern in my book. You shouldn't be infuriated though as playing from behind is one of the hardest to obtain skills at arena. May look obvious for you and me but isn't that clear cut to recognize you will be in that position from turn 1 while having DH hp. Trump simply felt he will just need to do slight catch-up which was misunderstanding of the upoming position and hence he hp on 1. I don't think it's greed, it's just bad assesment. However later on he indeed greeded-up in positions where he had to push for highest tempo.

Its boring as hell. Sure DH has the best hero power and is still.not a balanced class for Arena but.. a month of dual class, and he posts ONE video without the DH power.. while we get 5 repeat heros.... and 0 priest, hunter, Warlock, even mage i think....
I would feel the same way if the classes were more balanced, but DH just performs so much better and I like to see Trump play with competitively optimized choices. It’s like if he drafted jank to be quirky, there might be some cool moments, but then watching him get steamrolled would be vicariously frustrating. If he could reliably go 7+ with weaker classes then I agree that variety would be awesome.

He's playing multiple arena runs in a stream and only one gets uploaded to RUclips, usually the best one, and the one that is the best one typically is the one where he gets demon hunter secondary

You get the buckets of your First class with the HP of second class, that means Picking the worst Heropower then the best, to balance it the buckets would need to be rebalanced, but thats not worth the time for 3 weeks of arena

They have higher win rates in duel class arena because in normal arena they usually have lower win rates. In normal arena they're the lowest of the 9 classes usually, they were given higher quality card drops on average to counter that. In dual-class arena they still have those higher quality card drops with the ability to change their (usually bad) hero power into something better and they have access to better cards than their normal card pool. This basically means that they have higher win rates BECAUSE they are given better card quality when, if they were given the normal card quality, the win rate would be below average. Priest and Warrior were consistently the bottom 2 Arena classes since the base set

Historically worst arena classes, so classes that occupied most often one of 2 last spots, were Shaman and Hunter. Both because of really poor hero power, hunter in addition because of not having enough sustain and shaman because of bad overall card quality. In last year and a half it changed though due to various factors, mainly card quality boosts but if we talking about since the beginning than you are mistaken. @ClownFiesta Only higher occurance of class cards, neutrals same as every class. Som3one nicely explained why it's the case. Shaman hero power is simply the worst hp under normal circumstances and hp at arena matters quite a bit hence to make it competitive it needs to have some occurance boosts.
Tempo is king, I played a warlock arena with the hunter hero power, over half my deck was 2 or less and I just went face every turn and went max aggro and got 6 wins

Sure, this meta sucks so smorc is okayish but oh boi... try out playing smorc in good metas =DDD I advise you to watch Shadybunny as he explains thought processes at arena very nicely. I wish wwe'd have an expansion with cards on level of deep sea turtle, no rng, no incredible BIG SWING that wins the game alone if your opponent has no answer, just solid cards with a good effect.

Not really there are like five dominant decks and more classes represented than usual. Still feels bad because the meta is heavily tempo/aggro based
