Seriously maintain your friendship with Brian. Friends and family are everything in life. The older I get, the more I appreciate having good people around.
Great tip. I am nearing 70 (what the hell happened), and many of my friends, and all of my immediate family have died off. The older you get, the harder it is to find your tribe.
Agree
@@metaglyptoim turning 44 at the end of this year i can relate 😢
You’re like a kid excited about his tree house or fort and I absolutely love it, man! Hold on to that forever.
That extra room gives you lots of space. Thats camping in style and comfort!
Love the daily uploads your getting the groove back
I love that your are sharing your happiness. Instantly was drawn in.
Wow that extra room give you a great kitchen area. Love it.
I am DEFINITELY getting that tent. I have a Kodiak (10X14) but since Ill be spending two weeks out with family, I want THIS BABY! WOO HOO!
This is cool man. Good job. Make sure we get to see the snow their . Can't wait.
I feel like I’m 10 again! You’re excitement is infectious! Hey, Brian!
I love this Tent. Have been eyeballing it for a while now.. Great vid!! Been binge watching your videos and am jealous.. Keep'em coming.
We operate a small organic teaching farm near the outskirts of Eugene, Oregon.
We surround each entrance with warehouse-pallets for boot stomping and scraping.
This's one way to reduce tracking muck and dust into a relatively cleaner work-zone or home.
.
Edited to add:
* 'also hi Brian'
Man that tent setup is killer, I love the recliner and that add on room is so freakin perfect for that kitchen setup with the stainless tables. Jealous over here!! 😤 seems like your livin your best life Phil!!
Love to see you getting this sorted out and dialed in! the "garage" is perfect!
I have the same tent and as much as I love the awning, it is a giant PITA to set up, especially on your own.
It's not really a tent that you're supposed to set up and take down all the time to be honest It's more of a home-based type deal
The tent is amazing. Very comfortable
Man a Aqua Quest tarp would be a cool awning area out there they're probably the best camping tarps you can get there biggest is 15'x20'. I bought the 10'x10' 5 years ago and still love it.
It would also be interesting to know the difference on how much wood you burn in a night to keep the tent warm in the wood stove compared to if there was no wood stove and you were just burning wood out in the open?
Pretty sweet setup you've got yourself there. I'm thinking about a small yurt for myself actually.
This is such a nice winter camp home! I would love to experience this!
Also hi Brian
Really cool setup, was thinking of getting some land and doing the same temporarily
Down2Mob so cool is your tent set up! That will work out really well for you! You have a very outdoor kitchen set up too! Thanks for sharing! Enjoy! 😊
@Rain!
I get my exclamation marks by the case!
Cheaper that way!
It’s like step brothers and I’m here for it
With the winter weather front approaching, the next few days will allow you to dial in the warmth and incident weather preparation.
Awesome video guys, thank you
I love Kodiak tents! I have one, but I have been thinking about getting the same tent as you. And I think this video just sold me on it
EXTREMELY COOL LOOKING TENT OR MINI HOUSE, HOPEFULLY YOU STAY THE WINTER UP THERE ON THE MOUNTAIN....
That setup is sick! Brain definitely knows what's up. Looking forward to more!
dude can we get some action shots of that versa top?? that is sick. camp is looking awesome and i officially need a kodiak canvas tent now
Watching grown men get stoked over a tent is what I’ve been missing in my life… love it! 🏕
Hi Brian and Phil looks like 5-8 in snow tonight so your going to see how tent does with snow load tonight get lots of wood put away before the snow flys
@John,
And add diesel to the heater outside your quarters.
Diesel fuel stink soaks into everything.
Disposable gloves?
Galoshes?
It will be interesting to see how well the tent holds up to 8 inches of wet snow😬
I need this. Homeless in Indiana
That’s bad ass!!!!!!💪🏻💪🏻
Nice set up....but I think you need more wood. Like 3 times that much for a day or two of snow. That smaller stuff burns fast
Here’s a cool idea. Make one of those post/ direction signs like that TV show Mash 4077. This way to tent, this way to truck, this way to parents land. Etc…
Awesome set up! Reminder to gather extra tons of wood for the snow!
Good morning Phil πολύ ωραία η σκηνή σου 😘😘😘
I was just tent holding up I'm very curious how good it is in the rain too?
Amazing ❤
Mash theme music works whenever looking at the monster tent.
Dope lil fort, Phil!
Love it. Where is Julie these days.
How do you keep ticks and stuff out of your tent area and clothes? Can you offer advise on this?
Thank you.
Kota makes a great tent model! 😅
Awesome!!! … who the heck needs a house or apartment… this is living
Hello. Great looking tent. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽🏕🏕🏕🏕🏕🏕
great set- up ❗👍💯🏆🏆
Love
Wives and girlfriends think we are cheating when we are actually just geeking out over a tent 😂
@Yea,
A Bedouin girlfriend would geek right along with you... and your wife.
Is Julie coming back soon ? I'm wondering if she's gonna get to enjoy the tent ?
@Juli Rose ( The Overlander Nextdoor ) I'm so sorry to here this I didn't know or I completely missed it 😔
You should build a roof over the top and that will be your off grid cabin
Question, I see all this brand new gear being used for the first time but not any packaging, do you get rid of it before you go?
You hitting Skoolie Palooza? AZ
It's funny I've been living in the same tent for the past 4 months or so. I have alot of the same stuff maybe I should make videos lol.
HOW SLEEPING IN THE TENT ? HOW'S CODES LINKING BEING IN THE TENT ?, HOW'S YOUR COOKING MORE ROOM ?
OMG I love your set up my hubby and I have been actively looking for a property like your, he's originally from Arizona but I am not a fan of a full dessert I need wooded area and yours seems perfect. Where would you recommend we look to buy
The tent is coming along. What happened to your wood stove? I saw at the end you took it out.
Be nice to have river near by
I better understand why you went with this tent rather than using the Shiftpod which you already have. After receiving my Shiftpod and testing in the snow I see how bad the condensation builds up. Okay to deal with for a couple of days or a week, but living through the winter, especially when using propane for heat makes keeping things dry inside a daily and uneeded hassle. Shiftpod would do well, IMO, to make a wood heated hot tent. I really like that spacious outside covered area as well. Shiftpod is great, but has it's drawbacks.
No rainfly?
Why no spark arrester?
Bro, get a 20 foot container for rat-resistant storage and maybe a small bathroom? Cold can suck, lived in N Michigan for awhile.
@Cinc,
And build the entry a few feet inside the mains.
That 'porch' is the mud-room and an additional open area to deter vermin... plus it helps to contain the interior heat without winds stripping it away.
Hate vermin and other parasites.
What brand of woodstove is that? my son-in-law is looking for one…
what part of Arizona is your camp dont want exact but wondering what area Im in Havasu for the winter I have a 2020 forest riverNOBO 19.1 toy hauler
What size is that rug?
Thankfully you aren’t in The Adirondack Mountains in Upstate NY. The 1st 12-18 inch snowstorm would be devastating😬
Forsooth, thy setup is the teats.
If it weren’t for bears and cougars this would be a good way to live!
great Brains journey is inspiring there My knolege is for dogs Dont Repeat Failed Commands I hope that helps
You guys are both like kids in a candy shop
Down to Glamp now?
It’s called a base camp for the winter. Mind sharing your super dope full time nomad setup? Ohhh….
@@ElevatedOverland for sure dude! you get it. Nothing is forever anyways, I love that I get to try out different ways of life!
At least he is out there living the life we all wish we could
Lmao dude got attacked
@@Down2Mob can I ask what part of AZ & elevation?
Is that Brian???
This video says it just came out today but an older video from last week already showed your tent extension/ front room. Kind of confused on the order the videos come out. Maybe its just me or I need a Doc Brown explaining this to my Marty McFly past self... ??
The video last week was the others channel
When it gets cooler I fear you may get mice nesting in the recliner.
Where's your bathroom?
Why does anyone never talk about an area to shower?
@Troy,
Sheesh.
City-folk...
Sweet setup! When are you mobbin bruh?? 😂 jk lol
Bears ? Snakes ?
@Linda,
Both are good eatin'.

Where is your lady friend? Haven't seen her in your vids. I miss a couple of months watching your posts due to several appointments and family obligations .
Y’all are so high
420 for life brother 🥬😈
I am left wondering how you’re going to live in a wood stove.
Looking good .... have you worked on your rodent issues ? Just wondering.
Where is your girlfriend
Hobo in a tent - how unfulfilling!
