Really moving, honest performance. Great to hear the man himself doing his own song. Yes it can be a plodder when done in a lifeless way, but in his hands it comes to life and ministers to us all. Thank God for Dave Bilbrough.
The cry of my heart now, today and always "Abba Father let me be yours and yours alone, may my will forever be ever more your own", please Abba Father.
i met Dave in the late 80s at my church in Newton Aycliffe he was such a down to Earth fellow, then in the early 90's he made an appearance with the jesus army in Northampton and i wasn't allowed to talk to him even though i knew him , i wonder if he remembers " sock or mark from newton aycliffe ?? "

The song that crosses all barriers ,cast, creed, age, country and even time !
Great song and lyrics. Love your vocals and guitar work, too!

MARK GLADSTONE wasn’t allowed to talk to him?
I agree with Frank Gatley. Boring. The recently commissioned group at my church suggested this ditty as a Eucharist Hymn. Not on my watch.
Typical dull boring "modern"hymn type song
