There so many books on how to use psychology in design by graphic designers. Everyone does not need college/art school to be an artist but the tools i learned from there helped me cut a lot of self-learning hours. The books im talking about were required or recommended.
Great video but the thumbnail is ssooooo misleading, mostly because the communication in the image on the left is simple and far outways the one on the right! But i guess thats part of the point, now i think about it that is probably done on purpose and when have thumbnails ever been a good way of judging a video’s quality.
But I believe it's understandable if some people fail to see the psychology behind graphic design. In the future, understanding public relations and the psychology behind social media will be more crucial; then, you can sell anything.
Is it okay to use templates and customise them? I get a hard time starting from the blank canvas. I need something on it. So I start with a template or an element of a temp then design it according to my needs and end up creating something entirely different. But I still feel bad that I started with the template. 😢 Is it just me?!!
for the downloadable templates, I meant more towards contracts, resumes etc. If you're talking about client work, yes always make your own designs, but you can use those as templates.
