Also for the ones without holes, you can drill a tiny hole to add liquid and then use an eye hook and uv resin to close, then you’ve got a hanger to make keychain as well. If you don’t want to add water but still want a hole for an eye hook, drill a tiny hole and attach with the eye hook and uv resin
They all came out cute. I like them as shakers more than if you filled them with any liquid. What a novelty and so much work.❤ I think you should take Sunday off.
Love the little shakers. I have some to make. Just haven’t done them yet. So I wanna hit the like button, however I can’t cause it’s stuck on 665 so I’m not pushing that thumbs up until someone else does. 😢🐾🐾God Bless & Love to All
Ok, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE all of these!!!❤❤❤ You have got me hooked. I'm going to start collecting all the shaker molds now!! A lot of people use them for badge reels. Nurses love them. Thank you for sharing this awesome tutorial. You are so thorough and that really helps. 🩷🩷🩷💙💙💙❤️❤️❤️💛💛💛💚💚💚🧡🧡🧡
Those are cute. The ones without the liquid make noise, and the others don't. I like the noisy ones 🤣🤣I'd get too frustrated making those, so I will pass.😁😁TFS! Blessings to you my friend. Have a blessed week. ✝🙏🏼💕
Nice work! I have a few of those molds. You have given me courage to try them now. I poured a couple with 1:1 resin and now I know u v will be quicker.
I have the circle mold but yet to try it. I think I like the water-filled ones better. The moon was filled with just the right amount of water - perfect!
Those would be great for favors for a kids party, a reward for a job well-done or stocking stuffers. For adults, to enclose a keepsake like some of that Greek sand or pebbles you found. So relaxing to watch the glycerin ones move. Adorbs!
I've always topcoated after filling. The acetate has more give than the UV topcoated acetate. For ones without filling holes, I just punch a hole in the acetate, add a tiny piece pf acetate or a tiny glue dot to the hole, then topcoat it. ❤
You have way more patience than I do but boy dod they turn out cute. You could probably drill a hole at the top of that cute fish and string something that way. Anyway just a thought. Thanks for sharing ❤
Some people like having no bubble and some people do, it's all personal preference. Those that like having a small bubble inside believe that it helps the fun stuff inside move more, like the bubble can help push it around. And those that don't like the bubble just don't like how it looks. It's all what you like.
You also don't need to cut the shape of the dolphin, as long as the acetate is smaller than the outside shape, it works! So you could've cut a simple circle if you wanted to, since it will be covered in resin.
So if u want to add liquid to them just use ur drill and a small bit and drill a hole, then fill them up until full then use clear uv resin to seal the hole and top coat over the accetate and it will be all good.
You don’t need to cut the shape exactly. You can cut a whole round for the dolphin and uv resin it to the whole front just make sure you have a bead of uv resin around the dolphin cavity. You’ll be doming the whole front anyway ❤️
Could you put the resin items on the middle shelf on top of the uv lamp base ,fill them with embellishments Then put the liquid also in the items then place all the pre cut plastic covers on each item with uv resin connect the top part of the uv lamp to the base and cure them all on the shelf?Just a thought ,as that way you wouldn't need to worry about about holes or no holes in each item for the liquid to go through as you would have all ready filled each item befor you put the plastic covers on befor curing?
That is so weird that you smell an odor. I used these for Christmas ornaments and I didn't smell anything. Grey Blue and the Blue are my favorite. Several of the ones you have said have no hole actually have a hole sometimes it's not a notch, it's an actual hole on the side.
@@glitznglitterbymichelle1 Yeah. Some of them are tiny holes on the side in some of these shaker molds. Sometimes they appear as notches where you can see them. Sometimes the things you think are bubbles are actually the fill holes! Shaker molds are so weird. All depends on who makes them. For instance, the candy molds all have a small tiny notch in the "circle" section. Some makers make the hole very obvious and some molds you have to really look in ODD places for the holes. Sometimes they are in the creases between like a paw pad for instance or the V of a heart. I think some molds just expect you to drill a small hole, fill it with liquid and then fill the hole afterward.
These turned out lovely. Try half the amount or less than half of items for each shaker, then when you add the glycerin the items will move better. It's not necessary to add water with the glycerin. The glycerin makes the items move around slowly. I have used baby oil too. I didn't top coat & the plastic film lifted up. What a mess I had.🤦♀️If I use oil again, I will top coat first.
@@glitznglitterbymichelle1 Probably so - my headphones are pretty sensitive but the family is in bed when I watch so I have to wear them. Not a problem; I just heard it and wondered.
Don't fill your mold with water then pour the water into a measuring cup ti see how much resin it will take. Measure a cup of water (or I have a 2 cup measuring cup for bigger molds). Fill your mold from the measured water . Subtract what is left in the measuring cup from what you started with to give you an accurate measure for how much resin you will need. Then you don't have to worry about lifting up a mold full of water.
Remember the s ow globe you made and put too much glitter inside. I think the filled ones are really cute, but, I think you filled them up too much. Too bad the pink wasn’t glittered, but otherwise they all looked just darling.❤
Ready-made glitterized resin: I wonder why they asked you to try that out? What are the odds you're going to like glittery resin? (Don't bother looking up "glitterized" because I just made that up.)
Also for the ones without holes, you can drill a tiny hole to add liquid and then use an eye hook and uv resin to close, then you’ve got a hanger to make keychain as well. Those came out really cute Michelle 😍 Awesome for never really having done shakers before. Thank you also, for sharing the scripture 🙌❤Gail
They all came out cute. I think i like the one's you can hear when you shake it. But none the less all are very cute!!!!
I love these! I like the sound of the dry ones but also love when they float lol❤
Just adorable!!! I would drill holes in them to make keychains. The glycerin and water worked so well. I just love both.
Very cute. Fish and moon are my favourites. I might have to have a go - sometime 🤣

How about putting a hole in the acetate to fill it with water, then filling the hole in with the top coat resin
I’m sure that could work too 👍
Was just going to comment that, I've seen several do that, just pierce a hole in the acetate with a needle, fill it and plug the hole with uv resin.
I do that with mine it works just fine. Love you channel. I learned so much from them. Thank you.
So adorable. This might be relaxing for me. Like them all.
You did perfect with adhering the acetate! They are all so cute!

They all turned out great! My favorite is the ❤️ heart
They are all adorable.

Yes they are many steps for a tiny piece!!!
Cute little shakers ❤
They came out ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS.
These are sooo cute! The moon is my favorite and the inside cuties move really well!
They all turn out so Cute and Adorable !!! Love ❤️ 😍 💖
Nice work! I have a few of those molds. You have given me courage to try them now. I poured a couple with 1:1 resin and now I know u v will be quicker.
Fun and cute project. ❤❤❤
They came out beautiful
These are so cute!
They're all really cute, my favorite is the little octopus in the blue
I just got these moulds and was looking for how to do them and here’s your video. Ta heaps. 🥰
Perfect timing!!
They are adorable
Soo cute! Love them!❤
Very cute...you did a great job...like the uv glitter you used...enjoyed watching...God bless
I have the circle mold but yet to try it. I think I like the water-filled ones better. The moon was filled with just the right amount of water - perfect!
So cute! Wonderful work. Bless you and yours. ❤🙏
These turned out really nice💜 They can be shakers without liquid in them. I’ve made a few as keychains.💜
I love those glittter UV resin!!! OMG!!!! Hope tget cime out wuth bigger bittles of it!!!!
Those are really cute

Those are so cute! I like them both ways. I love when you show us new things...my wallet does not agree 😂
😁
😂 so agree. My pocketbook is not a fan.
Super cute ❤❤❤
You could add a bail on them to make them key chains
Pretty 😊
Viewing from the caribbean your resin uv projects are just beautiful michelle love them
Good job!!!!! Nice
Brilliant ❤

Michelle I use baby oil, just make sure that there is no leaks because it can and will get messy if it leaks. They tum out beautiful.
Those are cute
1❤❤I guess I need to order some.❤
If you drill a hole for the water/glycerin, you can uv an eye hook in it to make keychains
Those are cool
You have way more patience than I do but boy dod they turn out cute. You could probably drill a hole at the top of that cute fish and string something that way. Anyway just a thought. Thanks for sharing ❤
Just in time, my Amazon order of shaker supplies is just arriving and I need more info before I start! thank you
You're welcome!☺️
Use a small eye screw on top of each to make it a key chain

Would putting a bale on them work to make them as keychains? They are too much work and too cute to just make into fridge magnets.
Yes if you use a strong glue I think it might work
You don’t need to cut the shape exactly. You can cut a whole round for the dolphin and uv resin it to the whole front just make sure you have a bead of uv resin around the dolphin cavity. You’ll be doming the whole front anyway ❤️
Ah ok!! 🤦♀️😁
You dont punch a hole in the resin piece. You punch the hole in the acetate film. Because you're gonna topcoat it anyway.😊
Ah! Good point. 😁
just thought you like to know you don't have to unscrew it completely off to put the drill bit in just loosen it until the bit fits
Oh wow, I didn't know that!
I store my bottles upside down, that way when I use them there is no air in the tip. I hope this will help.
Lol, didn’t see the pre-alcohol spritz. Your neighbor from across the state
I saw someone on RUclips use baby oil inside the shaker molds.
No water.
Oh wow, interesting!

Cute shakers, but I think less is more on the fillers. I think it looks better if the insides have more freedom to move around inside the liquid.
Instead of the water/glycerin mix you could use baby oil instead.

Poor gimpy jelly fish ❤❤
😁
Was Don whispering in your ear when you were drilling the hole at the end there? Sounded like I heard a quiet whisper.
Fiddly stuff. 🤣🤣
No lol maybe his tv in the other room 😁😁

Trust me I did 😁😁
@glitznglitterbymichelle1 haha.

Does this mean you're a mover and shaker? X❤
🤣🤣🤣

Lol right!!! And of course I’m the one that noticed no glitter in one 🤣🤣🤣
Love watching you, but I like think you are putting to much stuff in your shakers. At least that what I’m seeing thought the camera.
They are super cute!❤❤
Those are super cute
