When we were playing tetris 99 the other day, I did totally forget how to do S/Z overhang kick. Thanks for the refresher. Big Bang and All Clear mode are very good game modes to practice any spin. It help me learn CCR years back.
I actually never learned how to do these fancy spins properly so this was very informative! Time to learn infinite S/Z spin triple setups. Request: O̶ ̶S̶p̶i̶n̶ . I spins are fun and also tricky sometimes.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but it seems that the situation at 1:17 didn’t work out not because of an incorrect I initial rotation, because it seems like you started clockwise like you were supposed to, but actually because the wall height on the left wasn’t high enough? So when you tried to rotate it back counterclockwise it didn’t tuck and went up instead. It seems it might be impossible if the wall height opposing the overhang is only two.
Ohh I think you might be right! I just took footage from a moment I remembered I failed the spin, but it's probably a stack problem indeed and not an input problem. Good catch!
@@Tetrium haha yeah, i only caught it because i ran into the exact same problem immediately after watching this video trying to apply what i learned. great tutorial btw! super helpful and much appreciated.

I will say this tho, for someone with such limited knowledge about Tetris, the information in these videos are really easy to follow
Aww thanks for saying that, Chronos!!
I didn't know you had a yt, tet. Also, I always wondered how these particular spins/kicks worked so thanks for the overview.
Happy to help! And welcome to the YT! 😅
Awesome, thanks!

Yess. I struggle with I-spins sometimes so it would help me to review the details too!
Especially knowing that it's different in TETRIO and guideline 😓 @@Tetrium
Now I wonder where test 5 would want to put it! Seeing the actual states on the grid and the kick table really does help a lot!
FINALLY
Thanks for your patience 😅
