I as well! Since I'm currently living in New York, I've met so many people who also love anime. When I went to Japan there were anime advertisements everywhere! I was disappointed that I couldn't live there... and of how little other countries haven't been introduced to 'Japanese cartoon'
I recommend an anime called: Soul Eater (It's amazing in English dub, and has great character development)

Agreed...I love when people in the US or any other countries (besides japan) get the word around about Anime/manga (including English voice actors who dub anime)

I speak both Japanese and French and I'm learning Spanish. The languages I'm learning can hold up a decent-higher level conversation, but my main language is English and always will be! Honestly, as long as you got the culture down, my family doesn't care whether I can speak or not... but yes, it does come in handy.

Tokyo was amazing... and they don't only speak Japanese! They can speak English in their cute Japanese accents :) There were so many tourists so I didn't look out of place. Oh, and the food in France is AMAZING... I went there a while ago for a short vacation to visit family. AMAZING FOOD!

Yea, I'm half Japanese half French/Puerto Rican... I'm a mutt lol. Traveling is such an inconvenience because you have to learn the different cultures each time you visit! And YES, they will say a word or two in English in a sentence (I think it's just to look smart). Their pronunciations are hilarious!
