I had a lot of throat and sinus problems in the past and I’m also in school for nursing. All of the ENT doctors and nurses who’ve helped me with my health problems were all so nice and caring. I wouldn’t mind getting into ENT as a nurse because it’s something I can relate too.

Super interesting! I feel like people should make these kind of videos from all specialities for young doctors/Med students to get an idea of what it’s like working in that speciality! 😌
    Thanks for sharing ☺️x

Oh my gosh you are an ENT that is wonderful. I have so many questions and possible reasons for you to do videos. I suffer from low IGM and chronic sinus infections. I have had several sinus surgeries to relieve blockage and over time have learned what to do and not do when it comes to cleansing. I can not do flushes or a Neti pot because I found out that the water gets stuck in some areas which I will drain out days later after bending down a certain way. This water sitting causes bacteria and then I’m on antibiotics for weeks. Can you explain why some people are like this and the whole rinse and drain issue?

Will you do a video on eustachian tube dysfunction? I believe there is a lot of misinformation about it. I would love to hear your take on it.

Dr Tosin. I get extreme excess mucus when the food or drink I eat is cold at all. It's gotten worse with age. It's really impacting my life as it grosses people out when I'm constantly clearing my throat.
I'm extremely healthy at 52 with a Ketogenic diet and have no other health issues.
Its been suggested I take an expectorant, but that's just thinning the mucus and not dealing with the underlying problem.
    Any help?

I’m sorry you’ve been having symptoms with excess mucus production but I don’t give medical advice for various reasons. Pls consult your doctor for further advice

@@doctortosin I understand your position doctor I respect that. Clearly whatever the physiological mechanism that produces mucus when eating or drinking cold foods is severely hyper sensitive.

    • @doctortosin

The CT scan was normal. She was re-scoped the following morning and it was still unremarkable. It’s likely she had swallowed the bone and the foreign body sensation was due to a scratch to the back of the swallowing tube.

Hello. Mam I would like to know why does it take so long to see a ent surgeon in hk like I have a clogged ear because one day I was cleaning my ear by cue tips and I accidentally pushed it too far and then I went to the doctors in hk into a big hospital and then they gave me olive oil and told me to rub it on my ear and I did but that didn’t work so we visited it again and they told us that we will have to visit a Ent surgeon in tsung wan now I know you don’t know about this place well it is in hk and when we went there they gave us a letter and in that letter it said the appointment was in 2023 and we were all shock so plz is it just a mistake or it’s normal
And I’m getting quite annoyed of my ear it’s been about three months
