WHO AM I?
My name is Tosin, I’m a GP trainee doctor living in London, UK. I make videos on medicine, finance and lifestyle. I started this RUclips channel in 2020 to share my experiences of medical school as well as a GP trainee doctors.
I had a lot of throat and sinus problems in the past and I’m also in school for nursing. All of the ENT doctors and nurses who’ve helped me with my health problems were all so nice and caring. I wouldn’t mind getting into ENT as a nurse because it’s something I can relate too.
I learnt something new today! And the scope?! Don’t know how you do it. So much respect ✊🏾
Super interesting! I feel like people should make these kind of videos from all specialities for young doctors/Med students to get an idea of what it’s like working in that speciality! 😌
Thanks for sharing ☺️x
Thank you glad you liked it! I've got a few more rotations to go so looking to film more 'day in the life of'
Cool video, I loved how informative it was. Keep uploading please!
Very educative. It brushed up a lot of my ENT studies❤
Skin is glowing 😍🥰✨✨
You inspired me to pursue my dreams☺❤
Love your videos, keep them coming.
Thank you 😊 will do x
Ooh enjoyed learning what you guys carry In The bag 😍. Ooh that Bleep I don't miss🙈
Lol I often struggle carry that bag around. Feels like a work out
Great tips there both for Ent students and the general public.
Thank you
Love the break down of the ENT bag 💼 super kit 🔥🔥
Lol thanks - the bag honestly has everything!
Hellow dr
I love your videos.
Very educative, not just superficial
Thank you x
Oh my gosh you are an ENT that is wonderful. I have so many questions and possible reasons for you to do videos. I suffer from low IGM and chronic sinus infections. I have had several sinus surgeries to relieve blockage and over time have learned what to do and not do when it comes to cleansing. I can not do flushes or a Neti pot because I found out that the water gets stuck in some areas which I will drain out days later after bending down a certain way. This water sitting causes bacteria and then I’m on antibiotics for weeks. Can you explain why some people are like this and the whole rinse and drain issue?
Hello dr i am doing residency in ENT from India.. I am planning to write mrcs ENT and start my career in uk. Will you please through some light what kind of jobs can i got after clearing mrcs, can you please make a video on core training in ENT.
We don’t have ent doctors in Nigeria to check my vocal cords,I have a muffled voice sad 😢
I was watching this when I got home and I freaked out when the bleep went off 😅😅 thought I was still carrying it 😶😶😶
Yep that bleep is a killer lol
Mam could u please tell me, i have tonsils almost 6 years, if i take anything more cold things then my tonsil is growing bigger & food is stuck there but if i do not take anything cold things then its ok & small in this circumstances what should i do which will be better decision go for tonsil surgery or avoiding cold things??Sir please let me know that will be helpful for me??Thanks.
That bleep noise though, don't think I'll ever be able to forget it 😂 What happened to CT lady? I suspect it was normal
I still get nightmare about that bleep lol and not even on-call. Yea CT scan was normal. No fish bone. Likely a scratch on the oesophagus causes the FB sensation
As a new GP trainee, not yet started, I find ESR confusing and where we can study from for e-assessment modules there?
Will you do a video on eustachian tube dysfunction? I believe there is a lot of misinformation about it. I would love to hear your take on it.
looove this as im about to graduate
Glad you enjoyed it 😀. Good luck with your exams and congratulations in advance for your graduation x
You made my day with your videos!! I think everybody can see that you are authentic and genuine. I wanna give you as much support as I can and for sure i will be here for the next one 🙂!! we also create video and i would love if you could check them ❤️!
What denaries and hospital s have u been in, I'm applying for FY1 and need some good reviews!
Dr Tosin. I get extreme excess mucus when the food or drink I eat is cold at all. It's gotten worse with age. It's really impacting my life as it grosses people out when I'm constantly clearing my throat.
I'm extremely healthy at 52 with a Ketogenic diet and have no other health issues.
Its been suggested I take an expectorant, but that's just thinning the mucus and not dealing with the underlying problem.
Any help?
I’m sorry you’ve been having symptoms with excess mucus production but I don’t give medical advice for various reasons. Pls consult your doctor for further advice
@@doctortosin I understand your position doctor I respect that. Clearly whatever the physiological mechanism that produces mucus when eating or drinking cold foods is severely hyper sensitive.

Do you sedation for application of PNP and ordinary packs?
Must be very uncomfortable otherwise?
hi hero keep safe always wanna be ur friend.. thank you for sharing
Great video. I would love to know what happened to the lady with a fish bone?
The CT scan was normal. She was re-scoped the following morning and it was still unremarkable. It’s likely she had swallowed the bone and the foreign body sensation was due to a scratch to the back of the swallowing tube.
Thanks for watching x
Hello. Mam I would like to know why does it take so long to see a ent surgeon in hk like I have a clogged ear because one day I was cleaning my ear by cue tips and I accidentally pushed it too far and then I went to the doctors in hk into a big hospital and then they gave me olive oil and told me to rub it on my ear and I did but that didn’t work so we visited it again and they told us that we will have to visit a Ent surgeon in tsung wan now I know you don’t know about this place well it is in hk and when we went there they gave us a letter and in that letter it said the appointment was in 2023 and we were all shock so plz is it just a mistake or it’s normal
And I’m getting quite annoyed of my ear it’s been about three months
Hi doctor .I'm from india ,I just finished my MBBS.can you tell me how can we work there.
