I definitely agree about just using the bag and not saving for special occasions. These items are meant to be used and loved, so why not wear it whenever the heart desires!

I got my maxi classic Double flap 2 days ago I paid AUD$15,000 PRICE INCREASE
And I wear it directly even I go out for coffee
Now the maxi is $10,000! You definitely bought at the right time!!!

Prior to late 2019 I didn't own any Chanel bags. I always thought it was too extravagant. But I thought of how I always spend on others but will skimp on myself. So for my birthday I bought a: Chanel Jumbo Flap patent leather (My favorite), a lambskin jumbo flap vertical quilt, a Brown Quilted Leather Maxi Vintage CC Flap Shoulder Bag and a lambskin shoulder bag, all in great condition. Fast forward a few months and the pandemic happened. Even now I blink about the price I paid because it is impossible to find right now.
I know these price increases are beyond insane!! I need to shop your closet honey!! And yes wear all of those bags!! Even to the grocery store 😆😆☺️

Jumbo is 30cm.... Maxi is 33cm.
I still love my LV reverse monogram #kkuwan clutch! It's versatile, fits a variety of items, and is definitely a workhorse! I think seeing it everywhere (like the LV speedy) is proof that it's already a classic.

Nice bags! The condition looks great for 3.5 - 4 years old that’s used regularly. I have a caviar double flap jumbo and I love it! I want a preloved single flap now. Yes - I still write checks!

I couldn’t agree more that you should use these bags, life is for living and functionality is a must. I like your straight talking approach. I purchased the maxi in lambskin but wished I got it in caviar because there’s too much surface leather and fragility . It is lighter but the caviar in this size is the most sensible one to have. I like both sizes on you. Great vid. M 😻
I am excited to see a pretty tall sister discussing the jumbo. I tried the black with gold hardware in store and for some reason, did not like it on me. I think the hardware was too shiny, which has never been an issue. I am 6’0” and feel the jumbo would be a good size. The maxi is lovely, but I don’t need a reason to pack even more stuff. Thanks for a great comparison. New subbie!

Im 5 9" as well also LOVE my maxi! I have it in silver, I find the other sizes too small for my height. I have a Chanel 19 in black goat leather. OMG its my new favorite! Its a bit edgy and yet classy- much lighter to carry.

I agree with you , all my friends say why did I bought a expensive bag and it's just a bag , and some of my other friends bought some expensive bags and don't wanna wear it they just display it. .. I said why not wear it every day wherever U go , you paid thousands to wear it not to display it 😂

Love it! Thank you for explaining why one would want to get caviar over lamb skin. Why would one want double flap over single?
@shay3030 it really is a personal preference.. but I feel like the double flap gives extra security for your items not easily being able to fall out as well as it gives the bag a little more structure so as to keeps its shape

I like big purses and I cannot lie! LOL I am struggling over the maxi and the jumbo. However, as I look at you wearing them both, it looks like the chain drop on the jumbo looks more comfortable for resting your arm and elbow. Thoughts?
You are correct and I think the jumbo looks better crossbody as well compared to the maxi but since I am tall I like the overall look of the maxi but it is very heavy with it without anything in it

Does the Maxi hurt your shoulder with the heaviness and the chain digging into you? I can't where mine for to long, I have to keep switching shoulders.
Yes it does it is heavy even with nothing in it 😂😭
How is it getting in and out of them? Does the double flap make it annoying? I ask because I’m on the hunt for a jumbo and they have double flap and single flap.
It can sometimes be annoying but it is also helpful with not allowing things to easily fall out of the bag.. so it’s like a pro and a con at the same darn time 😂😂
