Tie the Josephine Knot and the Carrick Bend

The Carrick bend is a knot used for joining two lines. In the decorative variation of a carrick bend, which is called a josephine knot, both standing ends enter from one side and both working ends exit from the other. Josephine knots are used in macrame plant hangers and jewelry.
