wow, this is amazing. I just needed something not too high poly for a fancy bar scene (colored waterfall for the back). This is perfect! I'm glad this was sort (some tutorials are well over an hour). Thank you!!
This tutorial is excellent! I'm using the latest version of Cinema 4D but I can't figure out how to get the attributes panel at 2:16 where you CTRL + Click and drag to duplicate the Noise layer?
Hey! I really loved what you did there, simple and smart, I tried to find the project to take a look at the material but I couldn't find it on your website, can you please provide a link? and thanks for the amazing tutorial mate
Very nice tutorial! However I couldn't bend the waterfall like yours and I don't have any idea about that. Each time I tried it just rotate all the plain instead of bending 90 degree. Could you help please?
Please either post the project file link for us to dissect or do a tutorial on how you made the materials and fog at the bottom of the waterfall this is how it looks realistic, its the most important step! Thank you
You'd need to bake the deformer down to Point Level Animation. It would be VERY heavy though since its so many polygons. Check out this tutorial to see how! ruclips.net/video/9fmeTBuynCM/видео.html&ab_channel=thepixellab2011
@@TravisRagsdale Thank you so much, i asked cause of there is an animation i'll use in game, probably that video can help us. Another way, exporting MC file format with FBX i exported, Unity can play that animation surely
super helpful tutorial, thanks for your time Travis! :) and even if the materials are super simple, maybe a screenshot of the nodes would be nice! or how did you made that rubber duck float :)) thanks!
Hey Lukáš! Thanks for watching. I've been getting some requests for that, so i went ahead and added the project file to my website in the main menu! travisragsdale.com/ Hope you can explore that and have some fun with it! :)
So yeah you could loop it, but since you're offsetting the noise, you'd need to make 2 displacers, offset one to 'start' a few frames before the end of the timeline, and then keyframe the strength of one displacer down and the other up. It sounds more complicated than it is, but thats because there's technically no way to loop a noise if you're offsetting it.

This tutorial is excellent! I'm using the latest version of Cinema 4D but I can't figure out how to get the attributes panel at 2:16 where you CTRL + Click and drag to duplicate the Noise layer?
Thank you! You have to make sure you are clicking on the "box" that i clicked on, not the word "noise". Hope that helps!
keep em coming. Good stuff.

Aweeeesome, how you did that water material?! Looks super cool ;)
Nice work. Like the simple workflow too often are things over complicated when it's not needed.

hmm maybe I bend it in a wrong way. I tried another time and it works!
Awesome man can’t wait to try
Thanks man! :) Hope you find some good use for it.
