The lines I came from a dark place and made from the heartache aptly describe my own struggle to escape the level below rock bottom. Fantastic song. As always from FATN
Starting my recovery almost 90 days ago this song hits deep and is my determination to fight and not lay down, I'd rather die on my feet then ever live another min on my knees begging for help.... I had to help myself and only myself can fight this right day in and day out. And I learned when you're truly done your done I have no desire to fall back down that hole I lost way to much that was more important and for my stupid ass to wait so late in my life to live that life and it turned into a 4 and a half year run, that's too long to put myself out my son's life even though he never seen me using or under the influence when I'd get him I'd be sick till he'd leave at the end of my weekend his mother knew and my times were cut back my and this is my fight and Mt disease not his so he shouldn't suffer. They say it's a family fight....no my family was so ashamed they turned there back and I'm glad they did I had only one person that stood beside me my oldest daughter who knew the father i was all i influenced in her life including my addiction i used my fails to show her it can happen to anyone no matter who you are pr how hard you work at life and she's a raised and trained warrior and has my back through it all and ive seen it tisrt hand in a altercationy as i stood ready to fight i felt something brush my back i looked and she stood right ther ten toes deep with me❤ I learned to live on my own and I learned to pull myself up dust myself off and flex at my feats and now I'm getting him every weekend and have plans this summer a his mother noticed his change in attitude right away.... anyone stuck there when you're ready pull yourself up and flip the demon off and tell him bring it
The line "I spend a day in your shoes and I'm fucking wearing them out" bc I'm a recovering meth addict and I keep telling people to walk in my shoes for once
People will never understand where you’re at, and the hell you go through. What they really don’t get is the strength you have to endure the suffering on the way to freedom… All I can say about my own addiction story, is by the Grace of God go I. With my very dark past and it’s horrors, I shouldn’t even be here, let alone be free from alcoholism. I’ve got the last battle ahead of me, which I will win. It is nowhere near as difficult a path that you have had to walk with meth, as mine is a prescription drug addiction, and taking Suboxone. Jesus said “Call upon me in your day of trouble, and I will rescue you”. He rescued me from horror and deep sorrow, and I am alive as a result. Praying that you too will allow yourself to be rescued 🙏
My ex and I have a beautiful daughter together. We broke up last year, we were together for three years and we had our issues but as soon as we found out she was pregnant she completely cut me out for no reason at all and took every step of Fatherhood away from me. I was the last person to know she was born, I never got to expoerience anything up to the birth and I'm not listed anywhere as the Father. I almost ended it a couple months ago because everything was just weighing me down too much but I could never leave my baby girl like that. This song definitely helps me to continue fighting and to be strong for my girl and be the best Father ever.
Literally thought this was Danny from Hollywood undead to only find out this guy is also named Danny! How funny! But I def got extreme Hollywood Undead vibes.
"Nothing compares to how I'm planning to tear you down, destroying your psyche until you question your whereabouts, I'm feeling I'm paramount, it's scary how, I spent a day in your shoes I'm fucking WEARING EM OUT!"
I love your sound, songs and vibe! I think you should be a much bigger band than you are. So much talent! The problem for me is you don't sound unique. That drop d or lower tuning is kinda played out with what your doing. How bout take that same mentality and passion and write a song in standard and see what happens with the same heaviness?
An broken hearted men can relate to this song

Badass song... theme song to my life
I really like how it sounds like Hollywood Undead. The lead singer reminds me of Danny's voice.
