Matthew is such a sickening and despicable individual for what he did to Lauren and he clearly knew exactly what he was doing, also I'm glad Lauren's dad had his suspicions about Matthew at the start when he first met him.

I'm pretty sure the Skaf family were apart of a terrible gang around the time of the 2000 Sydney Olympics and they went around r*ping women, I think about 16 of them got 1 girl, it was awful.

his behaviour in the marriage sounds exactly like my bio dad. No respect for the other person, not holding down a job or contributing financially but SPENDING money, hiding addiction... so many mirrors to my childhood. My heart aches for what Lauren went through during this entire relationship, she deserved so much better.

I was addicted to cough syrup (dextromethorphan) for over a year. For a year, it was the most blissful, euphoric high you can imagine, with all of that serotonin flooding your brain. Then it turned on me.. it led to 2 months of depressive hell where I alienated everyone around me. Still suffering from ill effects half a decade later
Is it a massive quantity you have to drink to get to this point? Btw I’m not asking for advice because I want to take it! I’m just genuinely curious about how much you would need to get super high it’s not something I ever really considered. Well done for being strong btw 💪🏻❤️
I dated a girl in high school who was into "robo tripping" and drank that. I'm gagging thinking about it as I type.
@@laurenlowe8385 Thanks! I made it through somehow, and have repaired most of the relationships I damaged. I didn't need much to get very high, I would take 160mg of dextromethorphan, give or take. It would put ne on the moon for about 8 hours, was extremely social and happy. Since it turned on me, my body completely rejects it, if I even take a medicinal amount if I got sick with a cold, I just get horrific nausea and depression for 8 hours.
Thanks for sharing! Glad you turned it around before it completely destroyed your life. I think when you go through these things, & come out on the other side, it makes you more grateful for life. It also makes you more understanding of others’ struggles.
My doctor of decades committed suicide last year, due to a diagnosis of lewy body dementia. At his funeral, I learned his favorite quote. “Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.” It’s a great quote. I now have a plaque in my garden. Some win that battle….some don’t. I’m glad you are. 💕

I would just like to say how much I love the way to talk about cases. You talk about them not only with emotion and respect, but with an analytical eye. You are able to talk about a case neutrally but also somewhat share your opinion. For a person who likes true crime, watching your videos brings so much peace. My mom had a failed marriage quite young before my dad and that was one of the first things she made sure he knew. Very sketchy he kept it hidden.

In some places it's only sold behind the pharmacist counter due to being used to get high. Some cough syrups also contain codeine (which converts to morphine once metabolized by the liver)
Once I tried to buy cough syrup for myself at cvs when I was 17 and they IDd me. I had no idea you couldn’t buy it underage

In my state, Victoria Australia I've had to show id and sign to get codeine with a prescription for codeine. It's pretty full on stuff.

Back in maybe 2007, there was a couple of girls in my class who took a whole bunch of coricidin tablets. One had to have her stomach pumped. Then someone had one of the joke packs of gum that would shock you when you tried to take a piece. The other girl just kept pulling on the piece of gum with no reaction to being shocked. I also know a guy who said he had taken a bunch of the pills and ended up feeling like he was trapped under the floor and no one would help him.

You can pick up an adapter for all your plugs pretty cheap. I keep one in my suitcase even though I rarely go anywhere I'd need it.

He thought a guy at his wife's church had a crush on her (or he made that up), probably was trying to use it to try and get her to leave her church to 'make him feel better', and isolate her from that support. When she didn't, he became as _pastor_ there. That's what I got from that

I was buzzed on the juice, straight to the dome it was, I didn't mean to kill her! Did anyone believe this? She was such a bright girl, her personality shown through in every photo of her. You can tell she lived life! A horrific crime and yes, a small man with no redeeming qualities.

As someone whose born and raised in London, finding rentals can be so difficult. It’s so industrialised in London now, all you’re going to find mainly is flats/skyscrapers. I hope you find somewhere and love London

Bella, can you please cover the case of Isabel Celis from Tucson, Arizona? She was 7 when she was taken from her home which was heart breaking here locally. Her accused killer Christopher Clements is currently on trial. He was recently convicted of the murder of another Tucson girl Maribel Guzman in which he received a life sentence. There was great speculation that Isabel's father was involved in the murder which the prosecution is leaning on in trial. I would really appreciate your coverage of this tragic story from my home town. Thank you for all you do ❤️

This was revenge. As simple as that. He stabbed his wife so many times because he had so much anger and hatred for women built in him. He simply punished his mother by killing his wife. I realize not every neglected and/or abused child will go to such extreme, but he did it because of trauma he'd experienced. He surely is dangerous and guilty, and should be separated from normal people, but I always wonder why society hardly ever blames parents, why isn't his mother being held responsible, at least to some degree. People do horrible things because horrible things were done to them. Monsters are almost always created, not born.
Why not his father? Wtf
It’s still a choice, you can either grow stronger from the hardships in your life and change you for the better or you can take it out on the people around you
@@ekta9789his dad never popped up from time to time for him to “get attached” or “get used” to him, unlike his mother. he didn’t have to deal with his father dipping in and out his life again and again, but he did have to deal with that with his mother
