You're videos are addictive! I drive a concrete truck, and pour for myself part time. Considering going fulltime with my finishing company. You guys do great work! I'm in North East Tennessee. I do anything but stamping. God bless!
Could u please share about coarse aggregate size and concrete grade. We're using B35 concrete and max aggregate size is 20mm. Our contractor complaining about aggregate size is too big. Our jointing is not going well. Please advise
Looks outstanding! Does the concrete typically always dry the same color? I've seen pool decks that have a beige or a cream tone to them. We're getting a pool installed and I'm looking for that really light gray color, almost whitish.
What is the correct finish for the concrete around a pool.....is a sidewalk broom finish ok to use? I was told no it isn't ok....too rough on the feet....please advise...
The cost to do the concrete pool deck is usually between 6 and 10 dollars per square foot. It depends on how big it is, where you live, how much hand tooling is done. In Maine, a simple pool deck like this is closer to the 6 dollar per sf range.
this guy takes pride in his work.

Hey Mike, do you still need to cut along the grooves once the concrete is set?
Hey Mike thanks for sharing your knowledge of your trade. You do good videos and good work keep it up man.
Thank you for watching!!
Made grooving look really easy great video
Thanks.
Que lindo trabajo, muy estético
Nice video. Can you broom finish after power troweling
Lots of people out here use a wide groover straight after floating to get the rocks down then retouch after broom. No tapping
That works good too.
Great job! Mike, could you make a video to show how to do the concrete surface surrounding of the swimming pool from wood framing stage? Thanks
Nice job
How do you make those curved form boards on the corners of the pool?

Have you ever tried front discharge trucks? They make the job a lot easier if you get good drivers.
Brad, Yes we have and we do like them. There's not too many in our area that's all.

So you only mag the surface before brooming? You don't need to trowel it before you broom it?
