    As someone who suffers from severe dandruff I tried doing this (not with the same comb). I told this to my dermatologist and he said it actually makes the dandruff worse, it may even start producing more dandruff. The best thing to use in my opinion is to use a proper dandruff shampoo. 😅😅

    I think the common issue with MOST dandruffs, is that its actually a fungal infection, which can easily be reduced using a specifically dandruff removing antifungal shampoo twice a week, and when the oil starts to build up, just leave it on for 5 mins on dampened hair, and wash thoroughly.
    After a few routines the dandruff usually reduces significantly. But if it doesn't, Visiting a dermatologist will always be the right call.
    Try this method if you think your dandruff might be due to your sweaty work schedule, while if it's because of stress, this treatment won't show much results. So all in all, start with visiting your doctor for the necessary treatment and you're pretty much set. No need to physically SCRAPE the scalp to get rid of it😉

      Are you talking about seborrheic dermatitis? That's not the same as dandruff. It's caused by an overproduction of oil, which feeds an overgrowth of yeast, which irritates the scalp and causes blistering and crusty pustules. It can be treated with shampoos and facial products containing zinc and salicylic acid.

    • @cerberusgamingyt6253
      @cerberusgamingyt6253 Месяц назад +1

      @@zenmeimori Sir, dandruff is a case of seborrheic dermatitis. The only thing that differentiates the two are that the latter spreads across the face as well as the scalp, while dandruff is just SD restricted to the scalp. And also the fact that SD usually comes with a bit of inflammation around the infected region

    • @cerberusgamingyt6253
      @cerberusgamingyt6253 Месяц назад

    Some dermatologists have given me an ACTUAL medicinal dandruff shampoo that the pharmacy gave me. That is the only way to get rid of dandruff. Because dandruff is a layer of dead skin that when scratched it form into tiny peices. But the more you scratch or comb the more it sheds and when you have dandruff on your nails or comb, your head will get more dandruff as it tends to spread. That comb makes things WORSE!!!

    Although it may be satisfying to watch people comb out or scratch out dandruff, I advise for those who have it to not scratch or brush it because it could make it worsen. When you brush your hair that is prone to dandruff, you should only brush the ends or the mid hairs. It could worsen the scalp or the dandruff further if you try to scratch it out.

Apply to your scalp only (not the length of your hair), massage it in, let it sit for 5 minutes, then rinse it out. You can follow up with whatever shampoo you like afterward for a second cleanse. I do this every time I wash my hair, which is every 1-2 weeks.

    not exactly a secret. combs and tight bristle brushes have always been used to remove dandruff. if you go in for a scalp treatment, we would use a dense brush with boar hair or plastic bristles bc it works much better. combs only really remove dandruff that clings to the length of the hair strand or product buildup. a finer tooth comb would also work much better for that. if it doesnt fall from the scalp when your hair bsrely moves, it's not actual dandruff. that's just the normal shedding of skin, which is typically removed when you brush your hair or wash it. dandruff is the overproduction of dead skin that constantly falls off of your head (unless its the scaley kind)

    Pretty sure thats just a bit of Sebum buildup, rather than dandruff - doesn't look "dry or flakey".
    That being said - "Sebum on the scalp is the primary cause of dandruff when combined with the fungus, Malassezia Globosa..."

    No. For dandruff... coal tar shampoo. For scalp with silver patches, capasal shampoo.

    Omg don’t do this.This makes ur dandruff worse and can hurt u.For the long term it has no use.Instead use ketokosenol shampoo which are prescribed by dermatologists.

    Idk if using somthing with such sharp ends on youre scalp is helping dandruff i think its making it worse and youll need to use this comb more frequently. Most hair influencers try avoiding combs because its harsh on the scalp and the best they say you can use is a scalp massager or your finger TIPS,NOT YOUR NAILS.❤
