Great interview, which triggered memories of my teenage years... That was 20 years ago. School life was terrible for me that time, but after school, I had amazing Placebo world: music and Polish funclub. I’m very moved when I hear Brian’s voice in this interview after all these years, and I’ve just realized that thanks to Brian’s lyrics and Placebo' music, I survived those tough times, feeling proud of my uniqueness❤

Partly to do with the cultural flexibility towards gender fluidity at the time, maybe, it's interesting like Brian mentions Bowie Iggy Lou reed, but the 90's was pretty binary in the mass media n charts

It’s infuriating how they never had the same success here in Canada or the US the way they are appreciated in Europe.
