Great review! 2things - The Beths changed drummers at some point back when this was released. The current drummer is Tristan Deck. Also I felt similar to you about the album ending at first but it ended up growing on me, to the point that Less Than Thou is now one of my favorites. Yeah, I'm definitely discovering that listening to a record for a critical review over and over, definitely impacts how you feel about the ending and beginning of the record especially. I think back on those ending songs fondly now that I'm removed from the review process but still think that they might have been better suited spread throughout.
