The game I watched.. 100 million pound Declan rice looked like a pub player for 90 minutes and didn’t make one progressive pass forward or create anything, Bellingham lost the ball trying to dribble and show off, and Denmark put a player on Trent every time England had the ball, which nullified him. He did however make Englands best run through midfield and best long pass to create a chance for Saka. Where is the criticism of Rice and Bellingham? Why is Trent being singled out. He wasn’t the worst performer in the midfield vs Denmark, that was golden boy Declan Rice who can do no wrong. Trent is the easy one to blame because the media already have their agenda , Neville and Keane have been harsh lately with their anti Liverpool agenda.

I think you put Wharton in for Trent get him sitting let rice go back and forth. Mainoo can do a similar job however if you want that security in front of defence. Wharton edges him in that.
