Great bro ! I'm a bit concerned about the handbrake lever being obstructed. I am in the process of designing one for my E30. I'm using very strong black uv resistant plastic, same as those used for outdoor fibre optic installations.I will upholster complete. I am avoiding the obstruction to the handbrake by probably cutting an angle on the left side. Will upload photos on my channel when I've completed the project.

Yes, for me it doesn’t obstruct the use of my handbrake. It is also foldable so you should be fine. Thanks mate 👍🏽

I want to fit one into my Ford Focus mk1 but it should look and feel solid. This one looks cheap, plasticy and is just not solid. Someone got recommendations? Good video though 💪🏽

Can it be screwed in without that metal part directoy onto car plastic?
Unfortunately for this product,no. The metal is the structure where the stand is secured on, without that it wouldn't be secure at all
How is the armest now...is it still comfortable & securely fixed? Have you had any problems with it?
I no longer have the vehicle however before I sold it, it was still securely fixed and was so helpful. Would still recommend :)

When I had this car, I didn’t have to fold anything to use the handbrake, space was enough. :)

Double side tape maybe to fix it maybe...i have a new car so i am hesitant to punch holes in it 😆
I don't blame you😂 I would use double side tape but heavy duty edition for strength. Not the cheap stuff

Cheap armrest, you get what you pay for. I expected it to be woobly and not sturdy seem to it, flimpsy look, no lock, so cheap, Imma return mine and get something more sturdy. It's all about taste and what to settle for, I would recommend you getting a more sturdy one for future cars, more guarantee for satiestfaction
