No we didn’t we kept him to eat but did so as humanely as possible, we know if can seem rough but we follow all the fishing rules and see it the same as the fish we keep to eat. Sorry if it put you off 🙏
Shame about missing out on Bullara Station , fabulous station stay . You could have stopped in just for the scones and jam and cream on the homestead verandah , so delicious . Maybe next time . Mangrove jack are in those waterways , good eating fish . Don’t worry about no fish just enjoy yourselves trying.
Great job on getting the truck out and keep trying with your fishing. 🙂 While you might not trust it as much now, keep the Rode mic as a spare because their gear is usually pretty good. 🙂

Yeah late august was when we were there, plenty of spots when we showed up though
fishing is just like the lottery you can be right next to the one who is catching all the fish and be drowning bait while he has a full creel

Yeah we do really rate the mic, it just doesn’t work great with the GoPro/ media mod combo! May look at changing up camera set up in the future
