What is memorable about Mumford and Sons and many musicians within this genre is truth: authentic music, authentic lyrics. Totally real, not manufactured. We have to get back to this sort of thing; otherwise, we will lose our integrity.

There is a pure, simple, intense mix of light and shadow in all their songs and the way they interpret them that always leaves me breathless. I am amazed that this band is no longer known and appreciated.
Freedom of Religion & speech are now censored as we don’t want anyone’s feelings hurt or educate Americans as knowledge is power 🤫. Those that enjoy learning will find similar media & I agree with you.
I always love how tamed the audience is in all of these live showings. Other than the large stage audiences that are untamed, it's always the small ones that are patient to hear every little ounce of beautiful in each of the small-time live shows. You don't hear one person freaking out or, a group out of the small audience going off. It's just an audience that wants to hear it all. (The times that the audience scream out in appreciation is normal though)

I was at this show in Denver last year. As I recall, right after this song he (jokingly) chewed out the audience for not staying quiet. XD An awesome night in Denver as well.
I know its a concert but when they do songs like this where the audience has to be quiet, its like BRO STFU AND LET US LISTEN TO THEM. Lol I haaaate people who ruin the vibe with their annoying screams & whoops.

I had tickets for your 2019 Raleigh, NC concert. My husband bought VIP tickets for me, he knows how bad I wanted to go to one of your concerts. A couple weeks before the concert my Daddy was diagnosed with leukemia, I flew back to Colombia to be with him and my family. He passed the very same day as the concert, I'm so grateful I was able to be with him. I usually think how in a matter of weeks the day I was waiting for almost 5 months became one of the saddest of my life. I hope soon I get another chance to see you guys live!

I got to see this live with my youngest son and my dad. It was such a great experience. It was the last concert I got to go to before Covid came along.
My daughter was a young teenager when she turn me on to Mumford & Sons. We have their vinyls and CDs and have been listening ever since. She now has a quote from this song tattooed on her body. I remember watching this live at the Gibson theater before they closed it, and I was amazed. Everything was dark only candles and them lit. I was in tears.

The fact that this is in black&white made the whole performance much more honest. There something about musicians being themselves on stage, sharing themselves with others.
