I must say that I highly enjoyed this particular sign-off. The montage of students, the wonderful music, and the delivery of the voiceover brings peace to me.
Fun fact. The teen who captured the cross in Spring Bayou at the Epiphany in 1984, Dean Theophilopoulos is now a neonatologist at All Children’s Hospital.

Love this sign-off!
I do, too.

WXFL NBC 8 Tampa-St. Petersburg, FL Sign-Off on January 5, 6 or 7, 1984.
Ben Hallums It’s definitely the 6th as it’s the annual Greek Orthodox Epiphany celebration in Tarpon Springs.

Opa! 🇬🇷
That horrible thumbs sign off. God I hated that.
I completely disagree. I quite liked that sign-off montage.
When did the call letters change? Definitely an image upgrade.
