Oceanofgames has a LOT of viruses and the main virus found in their files is named Avenger AIO. This virus CANNOT be uninstalled once installed. You have to reinstall windows to delete it.
I've scanned my whole pc and there's no threat left now of OOG, some of the threats like trojan viruses have been deleted is it safe now? Windows Defender works fine and no threats are found.

Very very scary… I also downloaded from them. The game wasn’t even cracked yet. It was a sophisticated piece of malware and temporarily disabled my paid AV. It disabled auto protect and intrusion detection. I could enable it though. I found it in my exclusions a few months later.

Bro I am facing this now I downloaded IGI 2 from OOG and then it has 3 steps 1st is to extract the 1st file and 2nd file whose name starts with shut defender I opened it and typed password 123 and clicked on ok then suddenly my pc gave me warning that threat found and at the same time that file asked me for a permission but I denied it and clicked on window threat protection it suggests me to took action after that my window deleted that file automatically idk my PC was dealing with that file Whatever bro still it's security issue? as a regular user of ocean of games i have faced this many times. what has happend here is that to install the game ocean of games have compleately deleated the windows antyvirus and thats about it. after this compleately happens u can't update windows or sometimes even can't use windows store ,thats it nothing else.And i personaly preferred to keep my pc this way because it actually resulted in less usage of my system and i had an potato pc. so if anyone faces this as long as they know waht they are dowing and not download any serious malware on ther system they should be fine.but if in case u want your defender and shit back u can just reinstall window from a windows media reation tool/pendrive.

Luckily mining is no longer profitable so they won't be doing that. I suggest you disconnect from the internet asap. Backup your files and scan them. Reinstall windows offline. Download protection and antivirus from a other pc and put it on usb to install on the pc that was infected. Format your whole pc and scan with as many anti viruses as you can. It takes long but you should be ok. Also reset your passwords and add authentication like f2a
Same it happened to me while installing borderlands 2 , sadly there was no way to fix this , every shutdown lead back to blue screen , i had to reinstall the whole windows again and lost all my notes and files . Never ever use that site

The problem is the windows defender app that comes woth each setup Even if the setup asks for it do not use the app they give with the setup to disable defender Instead disable it manually If u already used the setup file to disable defender then reset ur pc via bios
@@progamerz6000 it isnt necessarily harmless but that doesnt mean its not harmful, it leaves your pc wide open for any viruses to attack, suggestion is to skip all the steps and go straight for the last step and extract the game file.
For anyone who is wondering how to fix this, you unfortunately have to factory reset your motherboard and reinstall windows. While in the process you have to wipe out your C drive so make sure to back up anything you have on it onto either another drive or cloud storage.

@@howto_7 search up how to factory reset PC. You have to do through the BIOS. Make sure you have a memory stick with a windows ISO. As reseting it from the BIOS will basically reset the motherboard. Just reinstalling windows will not work. It’s a simple process trust me. Worst result of it will be that you will lose everything on your main drive.

@@Nukey717 after hardwork for a day finally i reinstalled windows 11 , it was very hard and tricky trust me , getting windows in usb from mobile and changing options in bios and countering different types of error but i finally made it 🥹
as many of you guys facing the same issue, let me tell you one thing, i can't help neither anyone but but you can stay away from these kind of viruses by simply opening only and only the setup file not any other compressed files out there. also if your defender is stopping you from installing it simply delete it never think of disabling realtime protection or any 3rd party website

the setup file of ocean of games does not have any virus , but the pre installation things like avengers aio and disable defender is 100% virus, those virus doesn't affect our pc but just disable windows security from the system root and it can be newer retrieved unless we reinstall windows, so if you want to install the games , you can do it at your own risk , but newer touch the pre installation steps.

@@zake5479 imo the virus deleted ur windows programs, like windef so u cannot running it. to fix this problems u should repair ur windows. theres two way to do that, u should re-installed the windows, or u can upgrade ur windows using creation tool like what i did. but before that u should clear the virus using malware bytes. trust me it works

The only thing to overcome this virus is by using system protection before installing some games from that website. I just creating a restore point from my C drive and I install games in my D drive so my games cannot be affected

Guys just use a virtual machine to run the setup and extract the original game setup after the steps stated in it and extract it to the host machine all malwares will be within the virtual machine and the host will not be affected.you can safely use ur host system
download avast antivirus then run a full pc scan not a smart scan after it is finished the antivirus will move the malware to quarentine section of the antivirus delete the amlwsre snd ur pc is free
Bro same thing happened with me so i did the recovery of the pc from bios and then it was fine the reset option was working but the windows security was still not showing
I am stuck in the exact same situation and I don't know what to do. I didn't even open the BIN files to disable the Micorosft Security, just opened the setup. I have never had this type of bad experience with Ocean of Games before. Never using it again!
Listen i the virus is too dangerous to remove from pc even using a paid anti virus but you can use a cloud service to backup all impt files and re install your pc...that's only the sloution till date

If you have persistent malware or a rootkit try using more advanced AV solutions like malwarebytes anti rootkit, GMER, Norton power eraser, ect. If a rootkit is so embedded into your OS and evades detection then you should consider wiping your computer fresh.
It actually downloads a virus in your pc which compromises the security of your pc disable the antivirus permanently and you need to reinstall windows to fix it so please do not download any game from ocean of games please .
to remove any virus go to task manager then end task all the running once’s one by one then locate the virus that mostly where you extracted the game file and delete it
I didn't follow step 0 or 1 I just went to Step 2 and 🎉 it starts installing and i don't even turned off my antivirus and my fingers are crossed for now let's see if all this goes as i have thought I will let u know after installation One more thing, before installing I scanned the zip file With Defender Update: the game has been successfully installed and I am playing Conclusion: Don't extract and install AVENGERS AIO AND disable the Defenders zip files
Damn, this site destroyed my computer. We must all prepare it so that the site disappears permanently and other people are not exposed to the same thing. It destroyed the Windows security system, and when I restarted the computer, a blue screen appeared for me that changed the normal blue screen, as I was not even able to return to a restore point despite I was making a restore point 😥😥😢
My avast detected a threat named BV:Miner HA(pup). I'm trying to resolve the threat but somehow it doesn't works. So i just go to the file which is infected, and the file is now quarantined along with the threats. Did i solve it 100%?
No, the file is still there and the moment the av stops working or uninstalled the malware will attack, the best way is to use an av that can kill the virus at boot time which few av are able to do that
@@abhikuntal7646 What happened with you ? if all files damged and all icons become lika a white file you can't get it back it's so hard to do you need to burn a new windows by a flash memory or from the internet - In my situation I stopped the setup of the game before it completed and enabled the firewall again, everything returned safely
Avenger AIO is the culprit here it deletes Windows Defender from your system, once you install it will wipe out Antivirus and the only way is Reformatting the PC.

You have to enable the window security from the same application you disabled it then go to the restore option on setting it will work again but youll have to pay for it
I can confirm this is real,it tells you to uninstall the security settings then you are never gonna get them back The only way is to reset the pc, there's no other way
It's easy to solve the issue I just fix it 1. Go to settings search recovery 2. Click recovery option 3. Click get started Then we can reset pc without deleting our personal datas or by deleting personal data For me it took about 1½hrs to complete the whole process

So, no amount of registry settings will fix the issue unless the binaries are restored from the ISO. It made me reinstall Windows from ISO. Wait i think its not a virus☠ When u install the game from ocean of game, there are software to disable windows defender, if u activate that software they will shutdown windows defender until u activate it again using that software. It was happen to me too then i realize it a few hour later and reactivated it☠
How to get rid of that virus, turn off the pc by clicking on restart while pressing on shirt button, -> troubleshooting-> restart -> spam f5 ~> reset the pc from safe mode
So I had problems also with Ocean of Games, but not so bad. Basically, what happened was whenever I installed games from that website, a file under %appdata% is created, named something like WindowsUpdate or something like that. That file automatically started everytime I turned my pc on and what it did was using my computer's power to mine bitcoins or similar for the people that created that malicious software, blocking windows settings and windows defender to do so. What I did was simply disabling it from the Task Manager, and then deleting the file that they created. After a startup everything was fine.
Uhm, glad you got rid of that file but it is unusual that the file was named „WindowsUpdate“. Also it shouldn‘t be running at all time, do you know if it had network acces/sent/received data from another location?

there is probably a method to fix this problem. the "disable defender" file, that has both options to enable and disable, should have the access to enable the defender. it can prevent it as it can also be a sort of malware.. but the actual malware is probably the "avengers aio" file. i have downloaded lots of nfs games from the site, windows defender also detected it as a virus, because it is. never run the files. another thing that you can do is skip all the steps and do the last step, but that also could be malware. i am saying this as i have previous experience of getting hacked. 7 times in total. i didnt understand anything about tech back then but now i do. this is a warning for anyone who understands what i am trying to say.

@@deepesh8425 unmountable boot volume usually means that your drive that the windows is installed to, is no longer mountable, so if you have installed a possible virus, it may have misunderstood your drive. or it could also be just that your drive is not located by your computer. you should check up on videos like this more to understand. these might seem complex but come back to me again.
Years years ago, me and my friend experimented on downloading gta sa from ocean of games in an old laptop. I remember when we installed the exe file the whole computer started to slow down like literally slow down then it didn't blue screen it just froze so we shutdown the laptop. But the problem still existed..So he downloaded a Windows 11 software of approx 1GB 4.He asked me for a USB drive for Installing the software through it. 5.The problem was solved after after the Installation of new Windows 11 software. 6.Windows security was opening after the New upgrade of windows 11 7. Please backup your data before contacting the support as they may ask your for the reset and new windows 11 will be installed
the exact problem i had it. so i reset the pc using advanced startup options and remove everything from C Drive that option is reset my pc. keep my personel files option doesnt reset my pc.
I installed RE2 REMAKE from OceanOfGames. After i downloaded it i opened my file explorer and opened my c drive, you wont believe all of my available space suddenly started to vanish. Like i had 264 gb before downloading the game, the game's size was 26.3gb. But after downloading my availabe space rapidly got filled. Atleast 4 gb was getting filled every second and in the end only 40 gb got left. So i deleted all of the game files and had to reset my laptop. OceanOfGames is the worst.😢

For anyone who is wondering how to fix this, you unfortunately have to factory reset your motherboard and reinstall windows. While in the process you have to wipe out your C drive so make sure to back up anything you have on it onto either another drive or cloud storage.

@@howto_7 search up how to factory reset PC. You have to do through the BIOS. Make sure you have a memory stick with a windows ISO. As reseting it from the BIOS will basically reset the motherboard. Just reinstalling windows will not work. It’s a simple process trust me. Worst result of it will be that you will lose everything on your main drive.

the setup file of ocean of games does not have any virus , but the pre installation things like avengers aio and disable defender is 100% virus, those virus doesn't affect our pc but just disable windows security from the system root and it can be newer retrieved unless we reinstall windows, so if you want to install the games , you can do it at your own risk , but newer touch the pre installation steps.

@@zake5479 imo the virus deleted ur windows programs, like windef so u cannot running it. to fix this problems u should repair ur windows. theres two way to do that, u should re-installed the windows, or u can upgrade ur windows using creation tool like what i did. but before that u should clear the virus using malware bytes. trust me it works

The only thing to overcome this virus is by using system protection before installing some games from that website. I just creating a restore point from my C drive and I install games in my D drive so my games cannot be affected

No, the file is still there and the moment the av stops working or uninstalled the malware will attack, the best way is to use an av that can kill the virus at boot time which few av are able to do that

Avenger AIO is the culprit here it deletes Windows Defender from your system, once you install it will wipe out Antivirus and the only way is Reformatting the PC.

1. Go to settings search recovery
2. Click recovery option
3. Click get started
Then we can reset pc without deleting our personal datas or by deleting personal data

So, no amount of registry settings will fix the issue unless the binaries are restored from the ISO. It made me reinstall Windows from ISO. How to get rid of that virus, turn off the pc by clicking on restart while pressing on shirt button, -> troubleshooting-> restart -> spam f5 ~> reset the pc from safe mode
So I had problems also with Ocean of Games, but not so bad. Basically, what happened was whenever I installed games from that website, a file under %appdata% is created, named something like WindowsUpdate or something like that. That file automatically started everytime I turned my pc on and what it did was using my computer's power to mine bitcoins or similar for the people that created that malicious software, blocking windows settings and windows defender to do so. What I did was simply disabling it from the Task Manager, and then deleting the file that they created. After a startup everything was fine.
Uhm, glad you got rid of that file but it is unusual that the file was named „WindowsUpdate“. Also it shouldn‘t be running at all time, do you know if it had network acces/sent/received data from another location?

there is probably a method to fix this problem.
the "disable defender" file, that has both options to enable and disable, should have the access to enable the defender. it can prevent it as it can also be a sort of malware.. but the actual malware is probably the "avengers aio" file.
i have downloaded lots of nfs games from the site, windows defender also detected it as a virus, because it is. never run the files. another thing that you can do is skip all the steps and do the last step, but that also could be malware. i am saying this as i have previous experience of getting hacked. 7 times in total. i didnt understand anything about tech back then but now i do. this is a warning for anyone who understands what i am trying to say.

Years years ago, me and my friend experimented on downloading gta sa from ocean of games in an old laptop. I remember when we installed the exe file the whole computer started to slow down like literally slow down then it didn't blue screen it just froze so we shutdown the laptop. When we opened the laptop again it said HDD could not be found something with like ">_" things. My friend tried to put some cmds on it but it doesn't work so yeah the laptops bricked

2.They took my remote access of my PC and tried to solve the problem( Don't worry they don't have any access to the personal information)
3. But the problem still existed..So he downloaded a Windows 11 software of approx 1GB
4.He asked me for a USB drive for Installing the software through it.
5.The problem was solved after after the Installation of new Windows 11 software.
6.Windows security was opening after the New upgrade of windows 11
7. Please backup your data before contacting the support as they may ask your for the reset and new windows 11 will be installed

I installed RE2 REMAKE from OceanOfGames. After i downloaded it i opened my file explorer and opened my c drive, you wont believe all of my available space suddenly started to vanish. Like i had 264 gb before downloading the game, the game's size was 26.3gb. But after downloading my availabe space rapidly got filled. Atleast 4 gb was getting filled every second and in the end only 40 gb got left. So i deleted all of the game files and had to reset my laptop. OceanOfGames is the worst.😢
