    I feel like the goal is to make people guess so long that you get back stamina. Always holding on to one stamina keeping a neutral state. Until you're able to get a touch then combo accordingly. Issue is that its a long conditioning game playing RPS to get anything. It encourages playing slightly more defensively in the long run. But a lot of MUs arent going to wait 9 times out of 10. But i think its a lot more technical aspects, and forcing the enemy to play the game you want. Overall this is a win, but makes him more polarizing, which is pretty bad for tournaments.

    I honestly like that they want to make him a more resource intensive character, but then I look at goldlewis and that dude is building his bar back at the speed of light and also dealing a million damage. Cmon arcsys.

    The thing that bothers me most with the change is how much faster Goldlewis security comes back compared to stamina. I started playing the game last patch and got used to goofing off, and I still have a lot of fun playing the character but I can't really go for the same stupid things I could when stamina came back faster.

    Sin is very good right now. Ranking him above GL and Ram is wrong but he's definitly top/high tier. Sin is also in my opinion a charater that struggles agaisnt zoners a lot due to poor air approach. Unlike other top tiers he struggles hard in some matchups. The buffs they gave him might seem unfair to people that play like... Baiken and bridgitte but it is definitly a deserved buff and they also made him a real ressource character. Now all that's left to do is make still growing useful. The changes definitly nerfed the more aggresive and risky sin playstyle which i liked but he still feels good. Outside of a couple stupid stuff season kinda cool so far.

      I think he beats all zoners outside of Happy chaos(isnt rlly a zoner). his reward is too high rn for being right. last patch he def struggled with zoners

      @@DomiWurld yeah right now he does win what i meant is that he deserves the buff because his season 3 version was losing to a lot of zoners and he's not as oppressive as like johny, Ram and GL

      ​@@SinKiskeGGST that wasnt a fault tho, zoners are made to be good against rushdowns with linear approach options and bad against the heavies with neutral skips and game ending turns if they're right (at least in this game), if they can't be good against rushdowns then they just suck and theres no reason to play them

    I know Sin is kind of broken and I won't deny it, but he is like, the most fun character I have used on a fighting game in a fairly long time, any button into wallbreak being a true combo as long as you have some stamina or tension is basically how I would define Sin now.

      Hyper aggressive playstyle into super super passive playstyle. He is very weak without stamina but it should be like that due to his power level with 3 bars.

    Good video man. I thought fdc j.s was a decent jump in? Also, I never really thought of his 6P being bad against aerial opponents since I found it still good at my intermediate level against jump ins I guess. I agree on your thoughts about his weakness, definitely feels like you can still lose after getting a wallbreak due to lack of stamina. I feel like Sin gets overhyped sometimes since he has been regularly viewed high or top tier recently, but still has flaws and generally lacks results (tourneys and rating update). Glad to hear a top Sin player thoughts though.

      FGC js is 6pable and doesn't work vs 9 reversals. His 6p is terrible at dealing with vertical opponents. Besides that its a solid 6p with most of its strengths being in neuch.

    I dont think sin is broken, but i do think he's very front loaded. He feels like he have more weaknesses than strengths, but the strengths are so rewarding it doesnt really matter until you have 1 bar of stamina. Once you zero to one bar of stamina thats when your fundamentals really starts to show. Personally right now im more used to the passive aggressive playstyle of sin where im constantly looking for whiffs, looking for bad habits, try to respond accordingly. As a sin player hes like 3.5 to a solid 4 out 5 for me at least. He's very strong in the right hands and very hard to be consistent winning with him at higher levels. He rewards very strong fundamentals, learning when to use and when not to use stamina, and rotate your resources accordingly to the situation you're in.

      I also want to add that most of mu's sin plays no one wants to wait. So while this forces sin to play defensively, stalling for time to have the stam to convert of his hits can get really bad for you very fast making it more polarizing in long run.

    I feel like the passive way you have to play Sin without stamina and the slow recovery of it is crucial to keeping the character balanced. If someone dumps 3 bars of stamina into a combo in the early game to get insane damage, of course they're gonna get punished by not having that resource when they would like it to close out the round. But if they're more conservative with stamina early on they can get away with insane stuff when it really matters to close out rounds.
    I think that natural ebb and flow and the decision between stamina use for big damage now vs reserve stanina for big damage later is necessary for the character. If Sin was always getting stamina and always able to do stupid shit he'd be as ridiculous and problematic as Goldlewis, who gets resource remarkably fast and can use it similarly now for combo/pressure extensions with BT cancels. We all know that Goldlewis needs toned down, Sin shouldn't be elevated to his status.

      Good comment. I agree with what ur saying. He needs to be held down from his resource when he is without it and the devs did a good job of that. Im tryin to see why there are so many complaints about him but im not understanding

    When I saw he was getting new conversons I was super exited but when i got my hands on him I couldnt put my finger on it but he just felt wrong and idk why

    uhhh i think you forgot about 5H's blockstun change to attack lvl 4 a couple patches ago. It makes a 3f gap. not 5 and makes his 5H -2 lol

    I just started playing gg seriously and ngl this character feels broken I picked up a couple of days ago and I feel like it’s always my turn, my opponents don’t even get to play fr.

    While he definitely gave more for his buffs than the other top 3, he's still a hydrogen bomb like you said. Still there's no way he's stronger than ram and lewis who were both top tiers before the patch and were only buffed without ANY meaningful tradeoffs. Ram wallbreaks, gaurdcrush and mix potential ensure that the sword cooldown is never even remotely a problem, and Goldlewis literally just got a mountain of free buffs for nothing. Sin at least has to fucking acknowledge the stamina bar now, now triple the security and sword recharge time (vineboom) I'm waiting arksys🗿
    (ik they should just remove the gaurdcrush it was for the flow of it)+nerf rekka combos that shits yucky

    Sin is pretty cool, But that "still growing" ha got to be the most useless move in the game. i cant believe they removed air beak driver for that, Total L. No one can say they ever won a match cuz of "Still Growing".

      It'd be a pretty simple change, just make it a 22 input and have it function like Asuka's change test case only each item would have a cooldown kinda like shulks monato arts

    Again I hate to say but feels cap…not your opinion necessarily but that arcsys refuses to make sin a REAL resource character. He’s supposed to be press buttons do cool things & I guess they don’t wanna make the flow get cut up.
    Additionally bro his stamina comes back on his and opponents pressure…it’s stupid. He doesn’t deserve ANY of this shit. None. Eat should be the only thing to restore meter cuz he gets it way too fast - it *doesnt* come back slow like stop the cap.

      He would need to be reworked like xrd since none of his specials give him time to eat and Gatling changes make combining into 2d hard.

    You lose any sword or risk reward interaction whenever Sin has stamina.
    The only time you play him on an even playing ground if you're not Goldlewis or Ram is after you burst him (which you have to do if he touches you) and he is lacking in stamina.
    He's a lot like Old Nago (which you ignored when you talked about resource characters), except with a slightly weaker neutral, but a meterless reversal.
    Character is dummy broken.

      Nago has a cmd grab that refills and then buffs his meter.. stop lol. Also sins neuch is 10000000X weaker than nago lol. Nagos always has had some of the best neuch in the game. Also DO NOT burst sin if he touches u lol. wait for him to use the stamina in combo so hes then playing without resources(cant confirm hits anymore)

      Yeah and what happens if Nagi can't land that CMD grab? Does Sin have to worry at all about that? How is Sin neutral worse than Nago's when he has standard movement options, way less recovery frames on all normals, and when he has a better beyblade in elk hunt? Please stop lying

      ⁠@@YoungYoung95nago 2s has less recovery than sin far slash, and nago 5k is really good too. Beyblade is quite strong considering it can go nearly fullscreen with Fukui momentum and is amazing for comboing random hits. Also nago can now combo into command grab and is strong in his own right at high blood (unlike low stamina sin)

      @@YoungYoung95 If nago cant land cmd grab he has a full screen 5H thats -8 on block that Guard crushes/ isnt 6pable/ and does 200 damage on hit. If he has low blood hes prob the best char in the game. Fukyo beyblade or full screen clone projectile that has no hurtbox and is plus on block.. lol. ALSO Just saw u say elk hunt is better beyblade so this convo will end here.
