Kanye wakes up from his Kanye Rest. He gets Kanye Dressed to look his Kanye Best. He brushes his teeth with Kanye Crest, and bumps into his neighbor the Kanye Pest. Kanye goes to his church to get Kanye Blessed. The End.
+DallasWinstonis Mine Why do you hate Kanye? He is so intelligent , he is one of the most hard working artists in the industry at the moment , he actually worked to be where he is , he got his college degree and worked from there. Everything he says he has meaning behind it and he speaks the truth. I'm not a big fan of Kanye either but I still support him and understand his frustration at times.

IamSloth That wasn't what I meant by stealing. She said Kanye was the "most creative rapper out there" I was dismissing that statement because he wasn't the one who came up with the chorus, Daft Punk did. Someone who needs to borrow stuff from other artists doesn't deserve to be called "creative".
This song is so good for motivation. Revision stress is really getting to me and this has got me through three hours of working on English coursework. Awesome :)
Kanye West wakes up from his Kanye Rest, he puts on his Kanye Vest to look his Kanye Best and the brushes his teeth with Kanye Crest and leaves his house to get a Kanye Test and meets his neighbor the Kanye Pest.
I'm a die hard fan of Daft Punk. And the lyrics are just wrong!! It's "Work it harder make it better do it faster MAKES us strong. More than ever hour after our work is never over" I'm not the only one who cringes right?
Please stop saying this song is a "cover." It's not. A cover is when an artist takes an existing song, and alters the lyrics or in some places, replaces them completely. This song has only 1 thing in common with the daft punk song, and that is that he sampled like 4 seconds of it. The lyrics are original, the beat is original with the exception of the vocals on repeat, and this is ACTUALLY a song, not just stupid techno music with "work it harder..." In the background.
Omg thank you for saying this. Daft punk ALSO sampled the beat and other sounds for their song - it's not original. Both rap and dance artists use sampling.
Not sure why you linked a page that doesn't strengthen what you said. A cover version doesn't have anything to do with changing lyrics. It's literally just someone playing someone else's song.
**What I'm about to ask. I'll do it trying to keep my mind as open as possible, and I'd be infinitely grateful that the person who chooses to answer my question would do the same. If someone is about to troll, PLEASE refrain from it, I'm not interested in being conflicted.** So, I'm not into this kind of music, and personally, from what the media lets us know, so far I perceive Kanye West as an obnoxious person, judging by some egotistical/megalomaniac things he has said. Nonetheless, I decided to do my search, read a little bit more about him, and came across the fact that there are several of his recordings that music critics consider among the greatest of all time. I guess all of us, at some point in our lives, take a little pride on something at what we've excelled. Of course some people take more than just 'a little pride' and I'm guessing Kanye could be one of those cases. Or not, I don't know the guy. But going to the point, to someone who is really into this kind of music, and more specifically: is really into Kanye West's music, could you please explain to me: 1. If he's really THAT good at this genre, what is it that makes his music worthy of being considered among the greatest records of all time? Namely: mixing, lyrics, variety among the album, I don't know.. the things that, in this music genre should make a song/album a good one. 2. In the case that he is that good, do you think that would explain certain controversies? I mean, things he's said regarding his own opinion towards his talent and self-perception overall. In advance that another Open minded person (hopefully...) decides to answer this comment positively, thank you =). And just in case there is some troll who just couldn't resist: go fuck yourself with a stapler.
There are soooooo many rap songs that sample other artists' music. Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger gets plenty of views and plenty of people know about it, Don't worry man.
Actually, more than half, the entire song and revised beat/tempo were composed by Daft Punk. Kanye just added "lyrics". But it's cool, Daft Punk's been around since the early 90's, they're way more famous than Kanye West.
Thomas Santiago you know he didn’t do this all on his own right? Daft punk was heavily involved in the remix and the beats and Kanye basically just sung over it. They made the beat and collaborated with him to make this song
Xiphenor AMV If you try to duel me! It's gonna make me stronger! I need you to hurry up now! Cause I can't wait much longer! My deck is like tottally gonna beat ya! You may think your harder! But just wait for when I make my next move! WHEN WINGED KURIBOH'S COMIN AT YA!!
I disagree entirely. I think this was an incredible reuse of an incredible track, by two incredible artists. Daft Punk have a history of collaborating with Kanye (they produced the beat to Black Skinhead, so clearly they don't think he's crappy), and this was a fantastic repurposing of a great disco inspired track to make a great, energised song. The hatred of sampling strikes me as curious. What's wrong with taking an existing artwork and combining it with something else or rearranging it in some way to produce a new piece? If that was somehow artistically bankrupt, then surely it wouldn't be OK for novelists to quote poetry before a chapter begins, or for film directors to use pre-produced songs in their movies? Bottom line, I love this song, and the one it's based on. And even if the new version sucked, it doesn't devalue the old. Daft Punk's track isn't "ruined". It's just reused here in a way you, for whatever reason, didn't like.
Delmar Terblanche when i first heard his first hit, 'all falls down.' it was the most dullest thing i've ever heard, he sounded very disinterested and whining throughout the "song", there is a saying 'First impressions are everything.' make him "sing" his song acapella, and you'll discover he doesn't really sing at all. I'm a huge daft punk fan, since Da Funk came out, Daft Punk songs are so good, you don't need someone else vocals or someone talking over it to make it better, i, like most punk fans, got very angry after the last grammys when newsreporters kept referring to daft punk playing harder, better, faster, stronger in their montage as a Kanye track. It shocked me that entertainment and music news reporters, couldn't do a little research to see that the track is originally Daft Punk's in the first place. I loved how MC Hammer used Rich James Superfreak background sound for 'You Can't Touch this.' SWV using Michael Jackson's Human Natural for 'Right Here.' is a good song, however, i categorize Rihanna's use of Soft Cells Tainted love sample to sing 'S.O.S.' was a disaster, went i heard it, i was hoping the radio was actually playing tainted love, then here comes Rihanna's voice after halfway through it, i wanted to tune it out by playing Soft Cells song or Marilyn Manson's cover of Tainted love on my iPod. When you hear someone else singing different song over a song you like, you'll understand why it will rub you the wrong way. your examples of a novelist quoting a someone else's poem before doing a chapter is a different thing, he's not rewritting or changing the poem or adding something before or after the point, he puts the poem in it's unaltered state as a reference, a director using a pre-produced song in a film depends on the subject of the film, if he's playing the songs by Elvis in a movie set in the 60s, that's fine, if they're playing Pink Floyd or The Eagles for a movie set in the 70s that's fine, because you're trying to use an authentic song to fit with the setting of film, unless you're doing born on the fourth of july, where it had many errors playing the wrong songs for the dates they mention in the film, however, in music, i equate this song as if you're painting over someone else's work of art. it's like doodling a mustache on the mona lisa, or drawing a tattoo on Michaelango's statue of David, it ruins the work itself. and that's my point of view.
because some bitch went on the music news and called the Daft punk montage during the grammys when it played a portion of stronger, better, faster, stronger as a kanye track, and it is not a kanye track, it's a daft punk track that Kanye paid to put on a "song" where all he did was talk over the perfect track by DP. I don't just not like KW, i HATE KW, i gave him many chances, didn't like all fall down, did not like touch the sky, or diamonds are forever, the man personally is a world's biggest douche, and i just want to voice my opinion.
I Love this song, because when I went to Universal Studios and rode 'The Rock It' roller coaster, I had a blast and this was the song I chose when I rode it twice in a row... I loved it!!
Ya know, I could have sworn this video disappeared two years ago. When I typed the song in the search bar, I couldn't find it anywhere. Don't know if you privated or nor but I'm just glad that it's back on the site!
Don't care if he's arrogant or selfish, his music is fucking awesome. Deal with it haters
I have nothing against his music. I still think he's a total douche bag.

...I still find it funny he named his kid North West...oh wait, that isn't relevant to the video...OH WELL.
In honor of North West, Drake Bell is naming his son Taco.
I still find that absolutely amazing.
You're discussing Kanye West on a Kanye West video, so it is actually relevant to the video.
Not actually related to the song but...actually, yeah. You're right.
PendulumWing you forgot to mention that he hired a baby body double to try to fool the popparazzi, that idiot has issues.
When i was working out i used to love this song. But unfortunately it took me 2 years to find it XD

I thought it was "Make's us" not "Mix it"
read the description.
Emma Lee "reading" the description looks like a pretty hard task, have you looked at that abomination?
Mankind's Greatest Achievement In Music.

AaronAlert77 The original song IS by Daft Punk, moron. Kanye sampled their song and they were in the music video.

So, I'm not into this kind of music, and personally, from what the media lets us know, so far I perceive Kanye West as an obnoxious person, judging by some egotistical/megalomaniac things he has said. Nonetheless, I decided to do my search, read a little bit more about him, and came across the fact that there are several of his recordings that music critics consider among the greatest of all time. yup.
I like Kanye's old music better musically, but his new music is art, and it really shows his genius
The only reason this is so good is because of Daft Punk. Daft Punk is love, Daft Punk is life.
Don't remind me of that ;-;
"makes us" not "mix it"
some of the most egotistical lyrics i've heard in a while, but good song.
Oh, Man, wait til 2020 when he runs for presidency!😂
I love how long this song is. 5 min and 23 sec of pure awesomeness.
i hate that Daft Punk barely gets any credit for this song.. half the song is their music...

I heard Daft Punk stole this song and changed it. And I like Daft Punk a lot. And I don't really care.
if u r serious, u r an idiot
oki, miss ugly profile pic.
Kanye sampled this song from Daft Punk's album, Discovery. if anyone "stole" the song, it was Kanye, not Daft Punk
lucas martinez true
RainbowSwags harsh?
I'm tired of these remixes. The original song by daft punk is way better.
true, but i like his rap
This song was a collaboration between both of them.
Dude it was Kanye...he killed it. Remix > Original

What a way to ruin a great Daft Punk track.
Daft Punk's music is so good, it doesn't need to used as a sample to play over someone's crappy vocals.
well kanye's "crappy" vocals is better than daft punk's crappy autotunes
