What Noah does--always putting himself front and center--is actually very difficult. It is easier (and probably wiser) to keep quiet and let your results do the talking. That way, if you fall short, the blowback isn't as severe.
Yet Lyles accepts that burden, puts that pressure on himself, and everyone benefits. His brashness makes him a target but it also increases awareness and interest for the sport. Honestly, who here ISN'T looking forward to the showdown with Kishane, et al. in Paris?
Huh you must
He will have a slight advantage against Kishane. Experience of several championships and finals.
Kishane can absolutely win gold. Let's see how he handles rounds and a final.
Exactly
@@asaaarons9744Kishane can handle rounds the pressure ia the only concern, but I think it wont be a problem
Honest question, a lot of people keep saying that, what you refer to as “brashness”, or whatever we want to label his big talk and attention seeking behavior, that it brings attention/awareness to the sport. Does it really? Any specifics that anyone can point out to back up that claim? Is it increasing g viewership? Is that alone causing it to get more media coverage that in turn attracts new fans?
Go, Noah! enjoying the confidence! You got to love the competitiveness! USA, support and send positive vibes to all of the athletes.
The pressure he's carrying right now. i respect this!! 100 meter rivalries are back!
Why do folks doubt Noah. He literally has already beaten Seville, Kerley, Coleman, Omanyala all who had higher PB than him and the first two having ran a faster time than Kishane. Listen the 100m is stacked & too hard to say anyone gets it ... but c'mon I fell Noah is battle tested enough to say he's a favorite.
Because other competitors who are faster in the 100 are working harder than him !!
He’s definitely at least joint favourite with Kishane.
Noah has proven time and time again he can pull it off on the big day. Kishane is the fastest this year but yet to prove he can do it on the big occasion.
@@philipwilliams5897Y'all gotta get that weird hate out y'all heart 🤢. The dude literally worked on his 60m and won against the WR holder in that race. All so he could get a better 100m time😅

We have to give honour win it is due. Lyles put the running where is mouth is. Him nuh only chat, him deliver. May the best man wins in Paris. I pray all will stay fit and healthy.
Listen, you guys can count out Noah if you want. That is a dangerous mistake. He is a threat. He is consistent, and he believes in himself!!! I love it!!
Yes ❤
Nobody is counting out Noah. He has a good shot at winning gold....IF Kishane chokes or get an injured. Noah's experience gives him an edge but Kishane's raw speed can counter that experience.
Society tries to bring down a man who has utmost belief in himself. It’s such a sick world we live in
@BasitHaruna Thank you for saying that...Noah must keep believing in himself because he is the GOAT.
@@BasitHaruna You should stop this "society" BS. No one is bringing him down because he "believes" in himself. Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone is way more talented and popular and I'm positive she believes in her talent more than he does. She doen't act the fool and try to force her way on the 4x1 team. Noah's act is a side show and everyone can see it. He's talented for this era of sprinters, but not so talented that he cant be beat. He says outlandish stuff and was slick with his disingenuous "hope he stays healthy" crap about Kishane (that's why Jamaiacans dont like him).
His USA teammates dont "F" with him because he's selfish. Why would anyone advocate for a spot on the 4x4 relay team when the USA has 100 guys better than him., all because he wants the opportunity to win 4 gold medals. Painted fingernails, secret briefcases, "doing it for the sport".....comes across as fake as a $3 bill.
Keep talking we love when you healthy fit and hyped ..

I got lyles running 9.79 to 9.74 in the 100m and 19.28 to 19.38 in the 200m at the olympics
9.80 for the 100m and 19.6 for the 200m
@@TruStory97 Why just 19.6?
@@Pumpxkin Because Noah isn’t going to break his own record, due to his cockiness, and also him being nervous with his own expectations. Although he’s nervous, I still see him winning the 200m, but he might get silver during the 100m. The Jamaicans may take that one honestly.
@@TruStory97I think your comments could not be any more incorrect. As a person who has closely analyzed Noah over many years, the things you’re stating are the opposite of how he acts. 9.80 ain’t it…he’s definitely going to run faster if the wind & his health support it, and 19.6, bro, seriously? When Noah reaches a standard, it is either the same or better, not backwards. You claim he’s not gonna break his own records due to cockiness, but due to his confidence, he’s been breaking his own records left and right, repeatedly from the 60M all the way to the 200M! Also, he doesn’t get nervous…he gets excited to put on a show for the crowd. Whereas others crumble under pressure, the pressure fuels Noah; he absolutely loves it all. Last, Noah is an extremely technical sprinter who does exactly what his coaches tell him to do, and they’ve got all kinds of tools aimed at getting him where they want him. Noah has the ability to go 9.6 this year with the right wind.
The original poster is correct…Noah is likely to run somewhere between give/take 9.75 and 19.3 in Paris, if not better.
@@stevie586 Okay, so I’ll give you a prediction for the times he runs for both the 100 and 200m. 9.80 and 19.6 😂 I’m not saying anything bad here, I just know that he’s not winning the 100m, he could get 2nd or 3rd, but I know he’s not getting gold. The 200m he will win, but he’s not running a 19.3, he’s going to run around a 19.6 bro. He had nerves because he’s never won big at the Olympics if I’m not mistaken, that pressure that he puts on himself from his cockiness and from the people will get to him. That’s just my opinion though, we shall see!
Do your thing Noah
My man! Going to be a household name by the end of the summer games. Sure he's not Bolt, but he certainly is a special athlete with unrivaled speed in this current landscape. Hes been working so hard and you can tell by his results and hunger for more. So excited for him and for those that believe they can challenge him because the sport is about as exciting as its ever been from sprinting to distance racing.
If Noah is with the field at 60 meters, he isn't losing. Kishane needs to run Sub 6.4 through 60 to possibly hold off a close from Noah.
THANK YOU FINALLY SOMEONE SMART !!!!!
KT splits sub 6.40s easy. At trials he didn't get a good start and he still split 6.38s. By the way, he split 3.37s already, Lyles' fastest split from 60...100m...
If KT is in front at 60m, and unless he tenses up, it will likely be by a big margin and NL won't be able to catch him.
Btw, I'm not saying that Lyles can't win. What I'm saying is that KT splits sub 6.4s in pretty much every 9.8s performance that he delivers.
And KT at trials also split 3.38s while letting up at the end. Lyles split 3.37s as his fastest ever thus far, so not much difference at all finish wise.
@Yes_I_c4n That is a possible scenario. We'll revisit this in a couple of weeks.
@@wesleyjeanjr If KT doesn't mess up, 3.81+2.55=6.36s seems possible at 60m based solely on what he's ran already in the past, assuming no improvement whatsoever. 6.36+3.38= 9.74s seems very possible. Even 6.36+3.36=9.72s seems possible, given that his 3.38s split was with him letting up at the end. But hard to say though, so I stick to a 3.38s split.
For Lyles, I have 6.42+3.37= 9.79s at his best, but will say 9.80s because I think 6.42s would require an absolute performance by Lyles and there's always some minor mistake here and there.
Noah Lyles is my favorite athlete. Let's go!
@dariuzjohnson9125 Well since Noah is your favorite athlete Kishane dont stand a chance then. He probably should just head back home and quit the sport.🤣

🇯🇲one kishane di real flash ⚡️
Great work! And a negative wind and not a great start tells you he can run in the 9.7’s. I say a 9.76 to win gold in Paris.
Going sub 9.75s is super hard, no matter the conditions, unless you're Usain Bolt. I think KT can go sub 9.75s in Paris.
It's not like he's had a better start in his previous races...It's the same and will always be the same start..Thompson has a better start and an equal or better top end finish...
@@cliftonquarrie3929 Exactly. He likely split 6.43/6.44 in this race. His start is what it is. It will never match prime UB's, prime Asafa's, prime Coleman's, etc. They were hitting 6.31/6.32 splits at 60m, whereas Lyles has been at 6.43s plus since 2019. I don't know why people keep insisting on this "if he gets a betrer start" thing. Everybody has a ceiling.
I think a low 9.7 will win prolly 9.72-9.71
@@jusbusff9306 lol, you guys talk about a 9.71s easily, like if it's nothing. UB split 6.32s in his 9.72s. Tyson Gay split 3.32s in his 9.71s. Asafa split 6.31s in his 9.72s and 6.32s in his 9.74s.
KT is hitting 6.38s, Seville 6.40 and Lyles 6.43s tops. Lol.
