I owned an Audi Q7 and absolutely loved it. It didn't ride like an SUV, gave me the safety features to give me peace of mind while on the road, whether by myself or with friends and family. I never was in the position of having to put adults in the 3rd row seat, but it worked great for kids. I drove it several times from Austin, TX to Denver, CO (920 miles) and back, and I was satisfied with the gas mileage and the comfort, as my back and legs never gave me trouble. My last trip to Denver I took the backroads on gravel for close to 60 miles. I drove 80mph at times without it slipping or going out of control. I don't know too many other vehicles that could do that. Coming back to Texas from Denver, I drove straight through, stopping only for gas and to eat, and was very satisfied.
Peace of mind, non white knuckle drive = priceless

I'm contemplating a Q7 for my next family car, any owners here who can let me know how reliable they've been? Looking at the 3.0tdi, if I can afford the facelift from 2009 that would be great.
My daughter just swapped he Mercedes S class for exactly this model Q7 in white. I took it for a test drive yesterday & found getting in a bit of a struggle due to the low head line & A pillar.
Pretty sure it’s air suspension not hydraulic 🧐
So that would be "pneumatic."

Yes, once you connect your smart phone via BT, you can manage all local stored songs or Spotify
Not at all q7’s come with air suspension
No hydraulic suspension, not a 4 be 4. Lol
Soon as I seen him struggle to get int he 3rd row. Naw, I'll look for something else.
Are you going to sit in that row a lot? It's just there for emergencies. Most people leave it folded down for more trunk space.

All Q7 don’t have Air suspension I have a 2010 premium plus TDI but all the SLine Q7’s do

This was the first and last best looking Q7, the new ones are ugly, in and out.

is good review I liked how car described I personally think these generation Q7 looks better than second generation , I can see man looking after his car ,new owner when car will be sold will have good car I personally Drive Audi A6 for last 7 years and haven't got any faults as long you change oils and or regular service.

I did drive Range Rovers x 5 q7s and lots of different cars and I totally agree about Audi Q7 is very good family car you're high up you can see Road car have enough torque and is good looking vehicle

Q7 all day mate wouldn't even consider an Evoque that's more q3- maybe 5 size

It's always interesting to me what vehicles the British think are massive.
Well it's all about perspective isn't it. We live in a much older and smaller country and have been conditioned to this way of thinking given the smaller road networks and cars to fit. For us, a q7 is massive and we don't need anything much bigger. It's unnecessary for Britain.

@@jujumanayelala6291 2012 has a 6 speed transmission, 2013 and later have an 8 speed. Also, 2013 is the first year you can play Bluetooth audio from your phone. I have a 2013 and love it.

The 4.2l will cost you ALOT more in repairs than the TDI 3L. Even at 250000km the TDI will be going strong !!!

i know few guys, 4.2 owners.. A8's and Q7's... maintenance almost same like 3.0 , even my mechanic own A8 4.2TDI 4 years? no big issues.

There was a button on the inside of the boot

@@KhaiMahase I'm not sure what you mean, if I remember correctly it's just on the inside of the car when the boots open. This one is a 2014.

it is not 4x4 it is AWD but is more capable because it is Quattro
