I actually like the brown cabinets as they don't look like everyone else's here on RUclips. I'm over everyone's cookie cutter homes. Absolutely gorgeous! So fun for kids too. Love the hot cocoa bar. I would live there year round! My move was a disaster. I still have not gotten my kitchen organized. Still have things in storage that we need to find. Little snafus like missing shelving parts. Where are the casserole dishes?The heating was broken and we couldn't move ourselves into the house as it finally got cold here in NC. My daughter had to have emergency surgery to have her infected gallbladder removed while she's pregnant! Thank goodness she's home and getting well. I was still recovering from sciatica pain. Just a crazy crazy unexpected big hiccup. My son in law was feeling down and felt we all needed some Christmas cheer so he found his old sled and a string of Christmas lights that worked in our garage threw it all together and plugged it in. The grandbabies loved it! We will fancy it up a bit later but for now it works ❤

I know it is a challenge to decorate a new space, especially one that is quite different from the previous one, but you definitely met the challenge! I can't believe the difference the new stove and the shelves above it make. And the way you styled those shelves (and the ones by your table) is just adorable. I love the way you created your cocoa bar from the built-in desk. I also love your arched cabinet and the way you decorated it (and I think the black looks good). Hi. Your decorations are very nice. I think a white cabinet would look better. Have you tried putting the cabinet centered under the shelf on tbe back of your fireplace? I think it would even out the space and not look so heavy on that side of the kitchen. It is nice to see a home with such charm and not exactly like everyone else.
