It's absolutely amazing. I felt the same with Loki if you haven't already watched it. Same level of sets, costume design and just out of the box creative thinking. Loved that series too!
Learning that all the set in episode 3 and effects was practical was just, damn. So used to even the most basic things being cgi, seeing things actually be real is such a breath of fresh air

I’ve been starved of a good witchy series for a while. This was such a pleasure to watch! Patti LuPone and Kathryn Hahn were so AMAZING in this!! Masterful acting 🫶🏼
As someone whose job is literally 3D graphics, I am so happy and in awe at the fact that ALL of it was practical - Congratulations to the team, it's so impressive. Even though my job sort of goes against this idea, I think we can live in harmony, using VFX to compliment real worlds.
It's so amazing to hear from the actors themselves but you can really SEE and FEEl that everyone in that crew and cast was given so much space to create freely. That's why this is so good because there was so much creative freedom to let the thing become bigger than bottom lines and what one person thought it should look like. Such a brilliant piece of tv and art really I absolutely loved the series and can't wait for more!

Did not know what to expect but this show has quickly become one of my favorite MCU projects. So many great choices were made in regards to cast, effects, and music.
Question for the masses: Now that the season is finished, how do you feel??? I,for one, feel like there’s a gaping hole in my chest. With the ‘ballad of the witches road’ stuck in my lungs, I can’t stop thinking about that last episode and how hard it hit me. How I wanted to cry and scream for Agatha. The journey and revision of the song and its originality hits home for me. As I share homemade songs with my own mother and now i share those songs with my children. It was just a fantastic episode and a great show. Congrats to all the actresses and actors who played each part so perfectly.

It’s a Disney production my dude not Universal, and even if it was a universal production they would shoot it at Universals production stages/backlot in LA, not Florida. But since it’s Disney in the first place I’d be willing to bet they shot this in Atlanta where they shoot most of their Marvel projects

You can tell that everything is done with the highest quality, "the top of the top in their careers" like Patti Lupone said. And then the Lopez couple in music, the actresses, the production, the costumes... It's impressive. Only an uncultivated idiot would criticize this series just because Ironman it's not there.🙄 Seeing the quality they've put into this production, you can tell it's elite. But watching the episodes, it's an MCU masterpiece. WITHOUT A DOUBT. And yes, the fact that many viewers are drooling over Agatha's relationship with Rio only speaks of the great chemistry and acting quality they have given to their characters. It's incredible how good #KathrynHahn and #AubreyPlaza are. People should talk about that too, not about their homophobic problems that nobody cares.
Except the show is not that great. The song is absolute ass, too. That scene where they're singing the 70's version of it was cringey as fuck. Just laughably bad. It was trying to go for the "we know it's corny and bad but because we know that and do it in an over the top way, it's good/funny". It didn't work. It was just bad.

My concern... Joe Locke says at roughly 6:50 about layering in his character's 'darkness' with his teenage up-beatness. Well, if he's playing Billy/Wiccan, there really shouldn't be any 'darkness'.
What are you talking about? Depression and insecurity have always been hugely defining features of Wiccan's story. He's someone who always pretends to be happy, but internalises all his trauma until he can't bear it anymore. His origin story is about being relentlessly bullied for his sexuality and feeling guilty that he was never able to stand up for himself, and when he did finally fight back he accidentally almost killed his bullies. That's darkness. It doesn't necessarily mean he has to be evil.
