- In today's we build a player and attempt to score 1 million points in his NBA career in NBA 2K24! We start in 1984 and simulate until we crash the game and see if we can reach 1 million points in an NBA career! Can we get the job done and make nba history?

here’s an idea, play the first game manually, try to drop 300 points. then sim to see if your ppg stays around 300
well if it’s only 1 game it won’t. maybe if u do it for 5 games.
I think this only works in mycareer not myleague because in mycareer you don't have tendencies so the game simulates based on your in game stats and in mycareer i think u can play 20 years i guess and even if you average 300 points in 20 years this is only 492000 points

the limit of seasons in 2k myleague has always been 80 years. you can't go past no matter how far back you start

You might be able to get more pts if you make the rest of your team elite defenders/passers while keeping them bad at scoring
Or make even the main guy ass at defending, but everyone is elite at rebounding. Worse defense should make the opposing team shoot quicker, at least in my head that makes sense

You have to change your teammates tendencies too. Doing that I got regular players to average 100 in the normal nba.

you'd need to average approx 125 points per game (play-offs included and trying wo win every series in 7 games) to make it. theoretically it is possible on an easy level, but you'd need to spend 10 years playing it. good luck

With tendencies you have to set everything but three point shot to 1 otherwise the character freelances what they do since a character can't operate off of 1 tendency only

You could have adjusted your teammates tendencies to rebound like crazy but pass everything. He control all of their contracts to max length deals and adjust all of their overalls to only be good at rebounds. And adjust their age the same as yours. I doubt that would cover the 300k your missing but could definitely increase it closer

Give your teammates max passing and passing badges. Also change their tendencies so they don’t shoot but only pass
