Gotta say, I’m amazed once again by the plays you made with this deck. Gem knights have always been one of my favorite archetypes in yugioh and it’s so good to see them at their peak ftk potential once again. As long as master duel keeps master diamond and lazuli off the banlist, I’ll build this deck and happily enjoy master duel.

Yeah I tried block dragon in this ftk and works out fine however it just feels like a bad idea because you would lose your resources in the graveyard and won't work out well. I don't really play Absorb Fusion, like I said you would lose resources and locks you out from using Crystal Rose
If you still have that Gem-Knight Phantom- Quartz, you can return your Gem-Knight monster back from your graveyar and/or banished to the deck to fusion summon a mew monster, now that is a steal

This is what dueling is all about. Knock it off with bullshit control decks, outplays and/or generic splashable link cards with endless card texts. You either draw your entire combo and play it on first turn and finish me off in 3-4mins or we don't play at all.

Nice! Gem Knights has always been one of my favorites. Since Block dragon isn't really used, and I don't think you used the artifacts much either, do you think it is better to switch them with called by the grave and/or pot of desires? I think the extra protection from Maxx C and Ash is great to have since we need our link-2 to resolve, and extra cards in hand never hurts since we're running a fusion deck.

Brilliant light of Jewels ! Pure Gem knight was my first deck in MD.
This is why master diamond is limited and brilliant fusion is banned in the TCG.
It was due to a burn ftk for master diamond and brilliant fusion was because it was being used as a highly splashable engine
Also lapiz lazuli was the main reason for the ftk
Let’s just hope the master duel banlist let’s us enjoy it a little longer before they gut these cards.

I like phantom knights better but I am currently working on a gem knight x crystal beast deck bc gem knights need a dragon in my opinion
