I have loved Roxy Music/Bryan Ferry from the beginning (1972) but I have come to the conclusion life isn’t fair…. Mr Ferry is a musical genius and one of the most handsome men of his generation…What a selfish bastard! I can’t hold a tune let alone write one and I have a face like a bag of spanners
OMG - I fell asleep, didn't even make it to the Top Ten list, woke up in a state of bliss upon seeing gorgeous Bryan singing to me. Loved the arrangement. Thanks for the song ID notseafood
Bryan Ferry - just killing me softley! I love him- from the Roxy days, 'till today he remain such a great artist and preformer! Brilliant ,thanx for posting :-)
I hope you are right, I was 13 when I snuck into the gym to see them at Kent State University in 1975. I last saw him in 99 at The House Of Blues In Vegas, though I have seen him one other time. This last CD was the last actual CD I have bought besides packs of 100 blanks!
@jxxybxxy2002 He interpreted Dylan from the very beginning of his career. He did an amazing version of A Hard Rain's Gonna Fall back in 73. Check it out.
We can only hope!!! Would be a dream come true for a US Roxy tour. Bring it on!! But , that website has been under re-construction for awhile... and before that was rarely updated.
That's "A Hard Rain's A-Gonna Fall" from his first solo album "These Foolish Things." It is a killer version, yes. The album isn't just European. It was a world-wide release.
bloggerjoe, Hmm, Well I'll have you know Chris is a well respected session player. Carry's kudos with me because he influenced that great playing on Never Mind The Bollocks. To make a point He's a musician's musician. Terrific player.
Bryan never fails to please me...I saw him play in Amsterdam this year and he still blew me away, despite the fact that I can't stand Bob Dylan (Dylan writes good songs, but his voice sounds like a vacuum cleaner to me)...
Makes you wanna grab him by the jacket collar and pull off your tie with his teeth before leaving all kinds of lipstick kisses on his collar.............
Ferry is a rare talent - an innovator and interpreter who fits no particular mold. He's one of the greats.
Bryan's a class act. Suave, sophisicated and downright sexy at 60. Not to mention a gifted and very talented musician.
The defining voice of the 70's - fucking awesome.
Bryan rockin it like nobody's business. Smooth
I thought he was singing to ME!!! How did I miss this man all these years? Extraordinary.
Always the coolest. A true giant for our generation.
He is the greatest I have been a fan for over 30 years he still makes me swoon
My hero! Bryan, come to the west coast for a show please!....

June 27 2007
Nice song when did this air?
Does anyone have the original recording of this or anything? I would pay for a good quality version of this.
I posted it June 27, 2007, so it must have been that night or the night before.
fernicool69 actually, it started on June 26,2007 at 11:35p at a few seconds until 12am, it changed to June 27, 2007
Bryan could put his tones on the windows start up theme. It would still sound esoteric. Who's the blond rhythm player?(not the slide)
The full quality original recording? Where?
oops, I meant pull of HIS tie with YOUR teeth... damn Canadian Club whiskey got the best of me on this one....
does anyone know the date this originally aired? thanks
great slide guitar - anyone know who he is?
us Bryan single again,?
what is the dylan song called?
What year is this from?
I hope all you folks know that bob dylan wrote this song. hence "Dylanesque"
R we sure Ferry actually is singing? Suspicious...
Leo Abrahams
Heh heh...bet Bryan didn't much like being on the same show with Keith Olberman :) Love his music, but not his politics.
Olberman is a lib flunky, that is why he has no career
not too nuch, i sow alive, wose wnderfull! not paragon!
Makes you wanna grab him by the jacket collar and pull off your tie with his teeth before leaving all kinds of lipstick kisses on his collar.............
Well that's a load of crap, Robert Zimmerman wrote all these. Maybe the CD should be called Zimmermanesqe?
only problem is that you are not doing original work.
Bryan is still dreamy. I'd be his love slave any day.
