Thank you Audrey the signs you revealed are spot-on and are unmistakably true ; one thing I might say is that , not all are applicable in different cultures.
This should be called if a girl that is shy or a girl that doesn´t have that much confidence likes you. - If a girl that is confident likes you she will not behave like that, and she will not start to pretend to be someone else, and like stuff that she doesn´t like - A tip to both girls and guys, be your self rather then pretend to be someone else, the right person will like you if you do. But if you don´t be yourself the right person will probably not like you, when she/he would have if you would have just been your self and own it.

Hi there! So here is a weird and wonderful situation that I would like some help figuring out: there's a girl that I am friends with, but I am having a hard time figuring out if she wants to be something more. I should say right off that I have Asperger's Syndrome (high functioning autism) so figuring out social cues is something that I am always trying to master. We've hung out several times, inside and out of the various charity activities we volunteer for. It's always been with large groups of people, but three or four times she has invited me away from the crowd. She's even asked me to make her dinner at my apartment during a conversation we were having (I eagerly obliged.) What makes things complicated is she's still carrying a flame for her ex who lives in California while we're up here in Washington state. She told me this and confided a few other things (that I don't feel right going into on here) on the night we had dinner and I just told her that I wouldn't pressure her into anything. I think it's better to be "friendzoned" in this case rather than force something and lose her altogether, but that's just me. Would you agree? Do you think there's any hope for something?

Zach The Passionate Aspie Lol well it sounds like to me that she may have feelings for you but she's still hanging on to her old flame! So until something happens in my experience she's not gonna let go of him until he tells her he's not into her or she finally moves on! But in the meantime she'll want to keep you as a close friend because she's wants someone to talk to lol! But that's just my personal opinion she could be thinking something totally different lol :)

stuff and, in her own words, she wants to "figure out what makes her
happy."Maybe it's my over analytical mind, but I would think the best
way to do that would be to NOT be talking to him all the time :P She
hasn't been very responsive, text-wise, so I'm going to hold off a bit
on that and just see what happens. Thanks for the input! I find writing
out the situation (and getting feedback) helps me think about it more
clearly.

I know that's hard to do because I've been there before but later down the road she'll be better off & it will be easier to move on! Hey there! So I'm just answering from my personal experience!
If she's holding your gaze for more than 3 seconds and then looks away there definitely could be feelings there! But right now I know she feels like you don't like her because you ignored her! It could have been total accident but she doesn't know that so she thinks your doing it on purpose! And she doesn't want to embarrass her self so it's easier just to ignore you than to talk to you because she does feel rejected!!
The best thing I can tell you to do is to just go up to her and talk to her and tell her what happened! If you do that and she does like you, she'll accept your apology and move on and then things should go back to the way they were!! Good luck :)
