I locked in this build to try out today, at around 4.2k reso. It’ll be my first tempest PvP ever! If I don’t have the latest chest (or if it’s still bugged by the time I get it), which should I use? Zephyrguard?
@ got it! I’ve been doing great so far with zephyrguard. What are the pros and cons in your opinion? The zephyrguard damage numbers in the skill description are higher for me, and the mastery bonus is 7.2% cd reduction. On the other hand, memento onus has a lower base cd, it says it will stun any enemies along the dash, and that it conjures a zephyr (2 on crit) at the destination, which would seem better for continuing high dps on the target. It seems there are both pros and cons, so why is memento onus the winner in your opinion? I look forward to trying it myself and comparing!
@ funny how the lazy devs just created a better version of an existing essence that they nerfed, instead of un-nerfing it and coming up with a new idea lol. But I’m looking forward to trying it tomorrow!
It’s wierd when i use old banana build to dummy, my primary atk (Wind edge) show almost no damage… main damage always be from rolling surf banana. So i mostly abandon all primary atk dmg magic attr. Including slayer paragon skill tree like profficiency, vigor & collateral damage. Can you confirmed it? Or this is bugged on dummy? And set item i never use 4 vithu coz atk spd doesnt make that big impact for tempest, i choose 2 vithu & 4 glooms for 15% dmg boost & 22,5% crit chance after dash.
@@ayam7971 Rolling Surf damage is registered as primary attack damage. You can test it by using Power and Command gem. I’ve tested and confirmed it. You definitely go for 4 vithus for bonus attack speed. Attack speed has a HUGE impact on primary attack based classes like Tempest. The more attack speed you have, the more damage you deal.

@ShimshonDI Because it's easier to stun lock enemies and they nerfed Zephyguard before.

If u go for evasion so how is your crit hit chance ? Or skill dmg ?
Can be compensated by enchanting your other items with crit chance and using roiling consequence or mother's lament.
Then, the new chest breaks the Safe Borders effect. I was looking for a solution everywhere

What do you need to make the rolling surf 100% up time?
@@JoseBarrios-fh4cn High beneficial effect duration stat and Bottled Hope will help a lot in reducing the cooldown.
This guy dont know xd in 4 greens u may have 4% cd reduction, and on 2, beneficial, same on chest and pants, also reforges can help u

Rolling Surf replaces your Wind Edge as primary attack, so yes all effects that enhance primary work on it.
