This is a great song for a Christmas Program, as it goes with the play the students are doing, students love this song, they mention it is peaceful to them .
Just an update.....students did a wonderful job. many compliments to the music. Thank you for the great piece, i was able to get the piano version and have students sing to the piano. Thank You for making this a great Christams Carol helping students imagine what it would have been like, used this song as a writing assignment as well.
The key change at 2:25 along with the word change from “If I were there” to “I was not there, but inside I know” make this not only a Christmas song but also a powerful song of testimony that I feel when I hear it. Beautiful music, I love it!
