Happy New Year! BINI has a new Ad song endorsement for CDO (a food Company here in PH) titled "Ikaw Ang Idol Ko" and it's a lyric video. The melody of the song is catchy and it has 6.2M views now. I guess an animated MV for the song is on the works as CDO released a teaser video. The lyric video in my oponion is another Blooming in the making in terms its musicality where you can get the distinct PPOP vibes.
I think it was three days ago that they pretty much won the big titles at the 9th PPOP Awards. Yep, BINI was awarded by Billboard Philippines as the Top Artist in the Philippines in 2024. They were also named by Billboard global as one of the Global No. 1's for 2024. Not surprising since they were the No. 1 artists in the Philippines for Spotify, Apple Music, RUclips, and iTunes. They also won 8 awards, the most for any artist, during the PPop Music Awards: Artist of the Year, Album of the Year (for Talaarawan), Song of the Year (for Pantropiko), Concert of the Year (for Grand BINIverse), Music Video of the Year (for Salamin, Salamin), Best Production Design in a Music Video (for Salamin, Salamin), Favorite Streamed Artist of the Year (together with Maki and Dionela whom you know too), and Fandom of the Year (for the BLOOMS!!).
The designer’s were off whiite, Marine Serre for the half moon clothing and Adidas or Y-3 for Adidas. I hate this presentation. It was such a tight spot that Joanna accidentally stepped on Maloi, Gwen couldn’t dance with much gusto when she was highlighted and Aiah was a beat behind on her part, the director should have asked for a re take.
