12:32 a common mistake, that is Tower Bridge. It's what many think of when they hear London Bridge. There is a London Bridge, but it is just a plain standard bridge, the old one kept falling down so it was replaced, hence the rhyme/song.
British strawberries are considered some of, if not THE, best in the world. The environment is perfect for strawberries , combined with growing methods used. The best time of year for them is around June/July. That is peak strawberry season. If you go out into the countryside, there are strawberry farms dotted around the country that you can handpick your own strawberries. It is a popular summertime thing to do. The most expensive variety of strawberries is also exclusive to the UK, the "Little Scarlett". The variety is owned by the Tiptree jam company in the little village of Tiptree in Essex, about 50 miles from London. They are very small super sweet strawberries and jam made from them was the jam of choice that the Queen used. It's about £5 a jar. I got a little video up on how the company makes strawberry jam using their fancy methods "Made In Britain - How Tiptree Jam is made"
If you like bookstores, one of the famous ones is in Notting Hill. It is featured in the movie Notting Hill. The REAL one is at 13 Blenheim Crescent. They specialise in travel books though. There is 2 other ones of the same name but they are novelty Notting Hill gift stores. There is also Foyles, which is the main one. Its 5 stories! You want the one on Charing Cross Road. And theres Daunt Books on Marylebone high street
