My grandma has had a version of this game since I was a little kid, and I’ve found that I have the highest success whenever I can eliminate the highest numbers first. The lower numbers are much more flexible when it comes to matching the number on the dice, whereas the high numbers become a massive hinderance late in the game

Dido, you have your dice backwards. “Dice” is plural, and “Die” is singular. If it helps, the “c” in “dice” makes an “s” sound, and “s” usually indicates a plural.

This is super nostalgic. My English dad used to manage at a restaurant called “the pub” that we have here in the states. They had a bunch of really nice versions of this at the restaurant and I used to play it while he was working. Very cool
