hey, so I'm making darkspawn armor from Dargin Age: II and I'm trying to figure out how to do the scale mail under all the armor...I was thinking about getting some mesh in the correct shape I need it, then using it as a stencil for painting a morph suit...so I ask: how do you paint stretchy fabric? and if you have a better idea for making it I would appreciate it. have a good rest of the day! ^_^

Its, ok it took awhile to find it but I got it. and by the way Im doin the whole armor for a halloween party this year. and when I did the gauntlets I used toilet paper and paper towel rolls, worked super good. now all I need is the leg pieces and Im good to go. I Also did like a rust wash on the helmet with sword strikes on it. I'll send pics to ya.
You should buy cardstock. It's 150 8.5 X 11 in. pieces for five dollars at Walmart. Must be much cheaper than all those cereal boxes/ poster boards. Cardstock is the same material as the cereal box.
if you are going to make a halloween special, could you make Kaneki's eyepatch mask from tokyo ghoul? it would be so awsome, but if you can't do that could you make a portal gun prop? ;)

QUESTION. Can you use EVA foam for any of the foam projects or is it advisable to use the thin craft foam?
It shouldn't matter what type of foam you use as long as it's flexible.

You can also print on cardstock, rather than having to trace over it.
